CyberNest Entertainment has officially revealed Prism 2033, a new sci-fi parallel-universe MMORPG that’s being built with Unreal Engine 5. Designed to bring large-scale online RPG adventure to both Windows PC and mobile devices, Prism 2033 is currently in development for PC (including major PC storefronts) and smartphones. While there’s no release date yet, players can already pre-register and keep an eye on future testing opportunities and announcements.
At the center of Prism 2033 is Flux City, a futuristic metropolis that acts as the main hub linking countless parallel worlds. You’ll step into the role of a newly recruited Investigator working for the Harbor Agency, a civilian organization tasked with handling missions, unraveling hidden stories, and navigating the complex conflicts that unfold across multiple realities. From there, your journey expands outward into the wider “Parallelverse,” where each world promises its own atmosphere, dangers, and surprises.
The core hook is freedom and variety: Prism 2033 is built around moving between parallel worlds with distinct environments and evolving situations. One world might be a vibrant high-tech cityscape, while another might lean into mysterious, ancient floating realms. The game’s concept emphasizes that these worlds aren’t just backdrops—they’re meant to change over time, with shifting seasons and environmental transformation that helps the setting feel more alive and reactive.
CyberNest is also aiming for a more dynamic approach to NPCs. The game’s systems are designed so characters can respond to unexpected events in different ways, helping interactions feel less scripted. NPCs are described as having life cycles that progress over time, shaped by daily experiences—from youth to old age. Relationship-building is positioned as a major pillar, with the promise that players can form meaningful bonds with characters in the world. In certain scenarios, the game even plans to support raising children who inherit appearance traits from parents and develop through your care, adding a more personal, long-term emotional layer to the MMO experience.
On the gameplay side, Prism 2033 leans into cooperative and large-scale content. You’ll be able to team up with friends to explore dangerous worlds and take on high-difficulty missions designed to reward coordination and planning. Guild play is presented as a big part of the experience as well, including commanding starships and participating in massive interstellar fleet battles. These encounters aim to blend strategy, resource management, and ongoing conflict against rival forces, giving groups something to organize around beyond standard dungeon-style activities.
Another key focus is flexible progression. Prism 2033 is being built with the idea that not every play session needs to be a long grind. Even shorter sessions are intended to feel rewarding, supporting players who want meaningful progression without committing hours at a time. Exploration is also tied to cosmetic and collection-based rewards, including outfits, vehicles, and other collectible content that lets players personalize their identity and style.
Customization extends beyond your character, too. Prism 2033 is planned to include player-driven world-building features, allowing you to create and customize your own space within the Parallelverse. Combined with the game’s multi-world structure, it suggests an MMO that wants to balance guided story and mission content with self-expression and creative ownership.
CyberNest’s broader development vision for Prism 2033 is ambitious: the studio says it wants to go beyond traditional MMORPG boundaries and, as its technology and AI-driven systems evolve, work toward a virtual world that feels truly “alive.” The ultimate goal is a breathing online universe where characters feel authentic, choices matter, and the world continues to change around you—whether you’re online for five minutes or an entire evening.
