PRAGMATA Drops a Stunning New Trailer and Fresh Details at Tokyo Game Show

Capcom lit up Tokyo Game Show with fresh gameplay for PRAGMATA, delivering a deeper look at its atmospheric sci-fi action and the tools you’ll use to survive. The new trailer showcases dynamic combat, inventive gadgets, and a striking new location, all pointing to a more strategic experience than ever.

One of the biggest highlights is the Shelter, a safe haven where players can print (unlock) and upgrade weapons and Hack Nodes. Two standouts made their debut: the Charge Piercer, built for decisive, high-impact strikes, and the Decoy Generator, perfect for manipulating enemy behavior and creating openings in chaotic battles. Combat hinges on smart combinations, with each weapon and Hack Node offering distinct characteristics that reward experimentation against rampaging bots and heavily armored threats.

The trailer also introduced the Multi-Hack, a new type of Hack Node that dramatically changes the flow of combat. Used by Diana, this consumable can pry open the armor of multiple enemies with a single Hack, setting them up for devastating follow-ups. It’s powerful and limited, so timing and resource management are key to turning the tide.

Outside of combat, players will explore a haunting lunar station. From the Shelter, Hugh and Diana can ride the Tram to any previously unlocked Escape Hatches. These Hatches serve double duty as fast-travel points and crucial checkpoints, helping you chart a safer path on the journey back to Earth.

PRAGMATA is slated to launch in 2026 for Windows PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. With its blend of tactical weapon synergies, clever hacking systems, and evocative sci-fi worldbuilding, it’s shaping up to be one of the most intriguing action games on the horizon. Stay tuned for more updates as Capcom gets closer to release.
