Sony has confirmed the launch details for its PlayStation Pulse Elevate wireless speakers, giving players a clear date for pre-orders, pricing, color options, and availability. First introduced nearly a year ago, the speakers are now set to arrive on November 12, 2026, with pre-orders opening on September 1, 2026.
The PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers will be priced at $219.99 in the United States, €219.99 in Europe, £199.99 in the United Kingdom, and ¥37,980 in Japan. Pre-orders begin at 10 AM local time, while customers in the United States can place orders starting at 10 AM ET.
Designed for PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, PC, and Mac, the Pulse Elevate speakers are aimed at players who want a more immersive desktop gaming audio setup without relying on headphones. Sony is positioning them as a premium wireless audio solution for gaming, entertainment, and everyday listening.
The speakers will be available in two color options: Midnight Black and White. However, availability will depend on region. The Midnight Black model will be sold globally through Sony’s official storefront and participating retailers. The White version will be more limited in some markets, with direct availability in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. In other regions, the White model will be offered through select retailers.
One of the biggest highlights of the PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers is their use of studio-inspired planar magnetic drivers. Sony says these drivers are built to reproduce game audio with high accuracy, helping players hear sound the way developers intended. Each speaker also includes a built-in woofer, which should add more depth to explosions, engine noise, background music, and other low-frequency effects.
For PS5 and PS5 Pro users, the speakers support Tempest 3D AudioTech, Sony’s spatial audio system designed to create a more immersive soundstage. This could make a noticeable difference in games where positional audio matters, such as shooters, action-adventure titles, and racing games.
The Pulse Elevate speakers are not limited to console gaming. They can also connect to a PlayStation Portal, smartphone, TV, streaming device, or other Bluetooth-compatible hardware. This makes them more flexible than a standard gaming speaker setup, especially for users who want one audio system for multiple devices.
Sony has also included dual connectivity through PlayStation Link and Bluetooth. This should allow users to switch between compatible PlayStation devices and other Bluetooth products more easily. Built-in microphones are included as well, featuring AI-enhanced noise rejection to help reduce background noise during voice chat.
Physical controls are placed on top of the speakers, giving users quick access to key functions without needing to navigate menus. The speakers can be positioned facing directly toward the user or tilted backward at an angle, depending on the setup and listening preference.
Each PlayStation Pulse Elevate speaker will ship with a charging dock. Sony has not shared exact battery life figures yet, but the product information indicates that the speakers should offer several hours of wireless use when unplugged.
At $219.99, the Pulse Elevate speakers sit firmly in the premium accessory category. They may appeal most to players who want a high-quality wireless speaker system for their PlayStation setup, especially those who prefer open-room audio over wearing a headset for long gaming sessions.
With pre-orders starting September 1 and the release set for November 12, the PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers could become one of Sony’s most interesting gaming audio accessories of 2026.
