Square Enix Announces Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC
Square Enix has officially revealed Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III], a new all-in-one release that brings together the main Kingdom Hearts saga for modern platforms. The collection is scheduled to launch on October 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through the Microsoft Store, with preorders now available.
The upcoming bundle is designed as a convenient way for both longtime fans and newcomers to experience the core Kingdom Hearts story in one package. Unlike previous cloud-based versions, these releases will run natively on current-generation consoles, offering a smoother and more modern way to play through Sora’s adventure.
Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] includes three major releases: Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind. Together, they cover the essential chapters of the beloved action RPG series, combining Disney and Pixar worlds with Square Enix’s signature storytelling and real-time combat.
Players will once again follow Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they journey across magical worlds, battle the forces of Darkness, and discover the true strength of friendship. Along the way, fans can meet a wide cast of Disney and Pixar characters while uncovering the larger mystery surrounding the Keyblade, the Heartless, and the ongoing struggle between light and darkness.
The collection will be available both physically and digitally, while each included game will also be sold separately. Square Enix also confirmed that the titles will be re-released for PC through the Microsoft Store alongside the collection’s October launch.

Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] will include all content from Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind. The full collection will be offered in both physical and digital formats.
In addition, Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX- will also be available natively on Nintendo Switch, giving players another way to revisit the earlier chapters of the series without relying on cloud streaming.
Square Enix is also offering platform-exclusive in-game Keyblades for selected purchases.
Nintendo Switch 2 players who buy the digital or physical edition of Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III], or the digital edition of Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind, will receive the Long Night Keyblade.
PlayStation 5 players who buy the digital or physical edition of Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III], or the digital edition of Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind, will receive the Midnight Blue Keyblade.
Xbox Series X|S players who buy the digital edition of Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III], or the digital edition of Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind, will receive the Phantom Green Keyblade.
