Olight ArkPro EDC flashlight debuts with 1,500 lumens, 224-yard throw, and dual charging
Olight has taken the wraps off the ArkPro, a next‑gen successor to the Arkfeld line that keeps the pocket‑friendly form but levels up nearly everything that matters to everyday carry fans. The flat-bodied light sticks with the familiar rotary dial to swap between its four light sources, now with clearer status LEDs that also show when the light is locked.
The headline upgrade is a new right‑side spotlight rated for up to a 224‑yard throw—about double the reach of the previous Pro model, according to Olight. For close work, the floodlight has been reworked to eliminate the hot spot and provide smoother, even illumination. Both spotlight and floodlight offer five brightness levels and top out at a punchy 1,500 lumens.
Rounding out the quartet is an improved, cleaner UV emitter and a green laser pointer with two power levels. A dedicated side switch makes it easier to run the laser alongside the other outputs, addressing earlier usability gripes and making mode changes more intuitive.
Charging gets a major quality‑of‑life boost. The ArkPro adds side‑mounted USB‑C under a sturdy protective flap while still keeping Olight’s MCC magnetic port on the opposite side. An MCC cable comes in the box, giving you two convenient ways to top up on the go.
Inside, a 2,000 mAh battery (about 7.4 Wh) delivers a claimed 33% capacity bump over the previous Lite variant. Olight estimates up to 26 days of use from a full charge based on 30 minutes of medium floodlight per day. All this is packed into a slim 0.63‑inch profile that weighs around 4 ounces, with an aluminum body available in multiple finishes. Look for standard colors like green, orange, and black, plus a Phantom Squadron Edition; textured versions add a tactile grip and a small price premium.
