Acebeam X80GT 3 flashlight launches with up to 30,000 lumens and 24 LEDs
Acebeam is getting ready to introduce the X80GT 3, a powerful new flashlight designed for exploration, outdoor adventures, emergency use, and anyone who needs serious illumination in a compact handheld form. The upcoming model will be available in two versions, both built around a 24-LED floodlight setup for wide-area lighting.
The standout version is the high-output White Light model, which Acebeam says can reach an impressive 30,000 lumens with a beam distance of up to 430 meters. That level of brightness is intended for short bursts, making it useful for quickly lighting up large outdoor areas, trails, campsites, work zones, or search-and-rescue environments.
This high-power version weighs 560 grams, or about 19.75 ounces, and uses 24 cool white 6,000 K LEDs. Its maximum Turbo mode delivers the full 30,000-lumen output for up to 20 seconds. While that peak brightness is brief, Acebeam states that the flashlight supports repeated full-power Turbo activation, giving users the option to trigger maximum output multiple times when needed.
For longer use, the X80GT 3 offers lower brightness modes with more stable runtimes. The Med 1 setting provides 2,300 lumens for up to 3 hours before reducing output, while the brighter Med 2 mode delivers 7,200 lumens for around 7 minutes. This gives users a choice between extreme short-term brightness and practical sustained illumination.
Acebeam also highlights non-PWM dimming between 150 and 3,500 lumens. This means the flashlight is designed to reduce visible flicker, which can make it more comfortable for extended use, photography, close-up work, or situations where eye strain is a concern.
Another useful feature is the built-in high-CRI side light. Rated at 80 lumens with a 95+ CRI rating, it is made for more accurate color rendering and close-range tasks. Acebeam says this side light can run for up to 32 hours, making it helpful for camping, repairs, map reading, tent lighting, or emergency backup lighting.
The White Light version is powered by four built-in 18650 batteries. These batteries are not user-replaceable, but the flashlight includes a USB-C charging port with support for up to 60 W charging. That makes it more convenient for users who prefer direct charging without removing batteries.
Acebeam will also offer a Multi-Light-Source version of the X80GT 3. This model trades some maximum brightness for added versatility. Instead of using all 24 LED positions for white light, it uses four LEDs for red light and two LEDs for UV light. As a result, its peak output is lower at 23,000 lumens.
The red light mode can be useful for preserving night vision, signaling, wildlife observation, or low-profile nighttime tasks. The UV LEDs add another layer of functionality, potentially helping with inspection tasks, detecting fluorescent materials, or specialized outdoor and professional uses.
Unlike the White Light model, the Multi-Light-Source version uses four replaceable 18650 batteries. However, it does not include the same built-in USB-C charging setup, so users will need to swap batteries and rely on a separate charger when away from home.
Both X80GT 3 versions use a floodlight-style beam pattern, making them better suited for illuminating wide areas rather than producing a narrow spotlight beam. This design choice should appeal to campers, hikers, explorers, technicians, security users, and emergency preparedness enthusiasts who need broad visibility rather than long-distance pinpoint throw.
Acebeam has also designed the flashlights to work with an optional handle, which can improve grip and handling during extended use. Tripod mounting support is included as well, allowing the X80GT 3 to be used as a stationary work light, campsite light, photography light, or emergency area lamp.
The Acebeam X80GT 3 is scheduled to launch on September 21. The 30,000-lumen White Light version is priced at 180 USD, while the Multi-Light-Source model with red and UV LEDs will cost 170 USD.
Acebeam has also mentioned a third version called Neutral Multi, although full details for that model have not yet been revealed. Given the name, it may offer a different LED color temperature or a more balanced lighting setup, but official specifications are still pending.
With its 24-LED configuration, high lumen output, floodlight beam, side light, tripod support, and multiple configuration options, the Acebeam X80GT 3 is shaping up to be a strong option for users looking for a high-performance flashlight for exploration, camping, emergency preparedness, and professional lighting tasks.
