Nothing Sets July 7 Reveal for Its Next-Gen Earbuds

Nothing Ear (3a) earbuds set to launch on July 7 alongside Nothing Phone (4b)

Nothing is preparing for a major product reveal on July 7, and the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) will not be the only device taking the spotlight. The London-based brand has confirmed that a new pair of wireless earbuds, the Nothing Ear (3a), will also be introduced at the same event.

The announcement adds more excitement to Nothing’s summer launch, especially for fans waiting to see how the company’s next budget-friendly audio product will improve on the previous Ear (a) model. Nothing has already shared an early look at the earbuds and confirmed the color options expected at launch.

The Nothing Ear (3a) earbuds will be available in four colors: White, Black, Yellow, and Pink. This gives buyers more choice than the usual black-and-white options found on many wireless earbuds, and it continues Nothing’s focus on eye-catching design.

Based on the teaser image, the Ear (3a) will feature an in-ear design with silicone ear tips. This style should help create a better seal in the ear, which can improve passive noise isolation and provide a more secure fit during daily use, commuting, workouts, or travel.

Nothing has also hinted that the earbuds will offer some level of water resistance. The previous Nothing Ear (a) came with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, while its charging case had an IPX2 rating. Because of that, the Ear (3a) could arrive with similar protection or possibly an upgraded rating, though the company has not confirmed full specifications yet.

At the moment, Nothing has not revealed details such as battery life, active noise cancellation performance, audio drivers, charging speed, or app features. However, more information may be shared before the official July 7 launch.

Pricing is expected to remain competitive. The Nothing Ear (3a) earbuds are rumored to cost €99 in Europe, matching the launch price of the previous Ear (a). If Nothing follows the same pricing strategy in the United States, the earbuds could launch at around $99.

With the Ear (3a) on the way, the older Nothing Ear (a) has already started receiving discounts, making it a more affordable option for shoppers who do not want to wait for the new model.

The July 7 event is shaping up to be an important one for Nothing, with both the Nothing Phone (4b) and Nothing Ear (3a) expected to expand the company’s growing lineup of stylish, value-focused tech products.
