Noise Master Buds Open Debut With Bose-Tuned Sound, Open-Ear Design, and a Surprisingly Affordable Price
Noise has introduced the Master Buds Open, its first open-ear earbuds, at IFA Berlin 2026. Designed for listeners who want immersive audio without being cut off from the world around them, these clip-on earbuds combine an airy, awareness-friendly fit with audio technology developed in collaboration with Bose.
The Master Buds Open arrive at a time when open-ear earbuds are becoming increasingly popular. Unlike traditional in-ear earbuds that seal the ear canal, open-ear models sit outside the ear, allowing users to hear music, podcasts, calls, and game audio while staying aware of traffic, announcements, conversations, or office surroundings. That makes them especially appealing for commuters, runners, cyclists, remote workers, and anyone who dislikes the pressure of silicone ear tips.
One of the biggest highlights is the inclusion of “Sound by Bose” technology. While the Master Buds Open are not positioned as a full Bose product, the audio partnership gives Noise a major boost in a category where sound quality can be difficult to perfect. Open-ear earbuds often struggle with bass response and sound isolation, but early hands-on reactions suggest Noise has delivered a comfortable and well-balanced experience for the price.
The design uses a clip-on style that wraps around the ear rather than inserting into it. This should make the earbuds more comfortable for long listening sessions, especially for people who experience ear fatigue with conventional earbuds. The futuristic look also places them close to premium open-ear competitors, including Bose’s Ultra Open Earbuds, but at a much lower expected price.
Noise is also giving the Master Buds Open a feature set that goes beyond basic wireless listening. The companion app is said to offer an intuitive interface with useful controls, including a spatial audio mode for a wider and more immersive soundstage. There is also a low-latency gaming mode, which should help reduce audio delay when playing mobile games or watching videos.
The addition of low-latency support could make these earbuds more versatile than many open-ear alternatives. While the category is often marketed toward fitness and outdoor use, Noise appears to be targeting a broader audience that includes casual gamers, streaming fans, and everyday users who want comfort without sacrificing modern audio features.
Pricing may be one of the strongest selling points. The Noise Master Buds Open are expected to launch at around €119, or roughly $140. That places them well below premium rivals while still offering Bose-tuned audio, spatial sound, and a distinctive open-ear design.
Availability is expected to begin in late September 2026. Exact launch regions have not yet been confirmed, but the earbuds are likely to reach major markets such as India, the UK, and the US.
With the Master Buds Open, Noise is making a confident move into the growing open-ear earbuds market. If the final retail version delivers on comfort, sound quality, battery life, and app performance, these earbuds could become a compelling affordable alternative for buyers who want premium-style open-ear audio without paying flagship prices.
