Meta AI Glasses Launch With 12MP Camera, 3K Video, and Up to 40 Hours of Extra Battery
Meta has introduced its latest AI-powered smart glasses, blending everyday eyewear with hands-free photo capture, video recording, and connected features. Designed for users who want a wearable device that looks stylish while offering practical smart functions, the new Meta AI Glasses arrive with a starting price of $299.
One of the biggest highlights is the built-in 12MP camera, which allows users to take photos and record videos without pulling out a smartphone. The glasses support 3K video recording, making them useful for capturing travel moments, daily activities, social content, and quick point-of-view clips on the go.
Battery life is another key feature. Meta says the glasses can last around eight hours on a single charge, depending on usage. The included charging case adds up to 40 extra hours of battery life before the case itself needs to be recharged. This makes the glasses more convenient for all-day use, especially for people who spend a lot of time outdoors or on the move.
The smart glasses also come with 32GB of built-in storage. According to Meta, that is enough space for approximately 1,000 photos or at least 30 video clips stored directly on the device. Once users are ready to transfer their content, they can move files to a smartphone through the companion app using Wi-Fi 6 or Bluetooth 5.4.
Meta is offering the AI Glasses in multiple designs and lens options to suit different users. Buyers can choose from clear lenses, tinted lenses, and prescription lens versions, making the device accessible for people who already wear glasses. Each purchase includes a charging case and a cleaning cloth.
