Blaze Entertainment has revealed a highly limited Doom-themed collector’s edition of its upcoming Evercade Nexus handheld, giving retro FPS fans a new way to experience one of gaming’s most iconic franchises. The Evercade Nexus Doom Edition is limited to just 3,000 units worldwide, making it a sought-after release for collectors and longtime Doom players.
The Limited Edition Evercade Nexus Doom Edition is now available for pre-order, priced at £199.99, $249.99, or €239.99, depending on region. The handheld bundle is scheduled to launch on October 30, alongside the new Doom Collection cartridge.
This special-edition package includes a Doom-branded Evercade Nexus handheld, designed to match the dark and aggressive style of the legendary shooter series. Buyers will also receive a hard shell carrying case, a comic book, a keyring, a double-sided poster, custom collector’s packaging, and a numbered certificate of authenticity. To complete the bundle, Blaze Entertainment is including an oversized boxed edition of The Doom Collection cartridge.
The Doom Collection cartridge is one of the biggest highlights of the release. It brings together eight classic campaigns from the franchise, including the original Doom and Doom II. The collection also features well-known expansions such as TNT: Evilution, The Plutonia Experiment, SIGIL, and SIGIL II. A dedicated deathmatch map pack is also included, giving players a way to enjoy local multiplayer battles on the Evercade Nexus.
Blaze Entertainment has added several exclusive features to make this version more than a simple retro re-release.
