Lenovo Slim 5i 15IWC11 Debuts as a Lightweight 15-Inch Laptop With 120 Hz Display
Lenovo has introduced the Slim 5i 15IWC11, a new 15-inch lightweight laptop designed for users who want a larger screen without carrying a bulky machine. Despite offering a 15.3-inch display, the laptop weighs just 1.49 kg, making it lighter than the 15-inch MacBook Air. It also keeps a slim and travel-friendly profile, measuring 339 x 236 x 15.6 mm.
The Lenovo Slim 5i 15IWC11 features a sandblasted aluminum chassis, giving it a more premium look and feel while helping maintain durability. Lenovo has also equipped the laptop with a spacious 80 x 135 mm touchpad, which should make everyday navigation, multitasking, and productivity work more comfortable.
Performance options include Intel Core 5 320 and Core 7 350 processors, paired with up to 32 GB of LPDDR5X-7467 RAM. This configuration should make the Slim 5i suitable for office work, web browsing, video calls, media streaming, and general multitasking. Buyers will also be able to choose between 54.7 Wh and 70 Wh battery options, depending on their preferred balance between weight and longer battery life.
One of the key highlights is its 15.3-inch IPS display. The screen offers a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, which provides a slightly taller 16:10 aspect ratio compared to traditional Full HD panels. This gives users more vertical space for documents, webpages, spreadsheets, and creative apps. The panel also reaches up to 400 nits of brightness and has a 1,200:1 contrast ratio.
Another standout feature is the 120 Hz refresh rate. While many mainstream productivity laptops still ship with 60 Hz displays, the higher refresh rate should deliver smoother scrolling, more responsive cursor movement, and a better overall viewing experience.
Lenovo has not yet announced official pricing or regional availability for the Slim 5i 15IWC11. However, with its lightweight aluminum design, efficient Intel processor options, high-speed memory, large 15.3-inch display, and 120 Hz refresh rate, this laptop could be an appealing option for students, professionals, and anyone looking for a portable big-screen Windows laptop.
