Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Aura Gets New Core Ultra 7 266V Version With 2.8K OLED Display
Lenovo has expanded its Yoga Air 14 Aura lineup in China with a new configuration powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 7 266V processor. The latest 14-inch thin-and-light laptop is aimed at users who want a premium portable PC with strong AI capabilities, a high-end OLED touchscreen, and a sleek build.
The new Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Aura model is priced at CNY 9,999, which is approximately $1,487. It joins earlier Yoga Air 14 configurations featuring Intel Core Ultra 7 355 and Core Ultra 7 256V chips, giving buyers another option in Lenovo’s growing AI-focused laptop range.
At the heart of this version is Intel’s Core Ultra 7 266V, an 8-core, 8-thread Lunar Lake processor with a boost clock of up to 5.0 GHz. The chip also includes integrated Intel Arc 140V graphics, making it suitable for everyday productivity, entertainment, light creative workloads, and AI-enhanced tasks.
One of the key highlights of the processor is its AI performance. Lenovo says the laptop can deliver up to 118 TOPS of AI computing power, positioning it as a modern notebook ready for AI-assisted features in Windows applications, creative software, productivity tools, and video conferencing.
The processor is paired with 16 GB of high-speed LPDDR5X memory running at 8,533 MT/s. For storage, Lenovo includes a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, offering fast boot times, quick app loading, and enough space for documents, media, work files, and creative projects.
In terms of performance, the Core Ultra 7 266V is expected to sit very close to the Core Ultra 7 256V. General benchmark comparisons suggest only a small difference between the two chips, with the 266V sometimes gaining ground in multi-core workloads while trailing slightly in certain single-core tests. For most users, the real-world difference should be minimal.
The display is one of the strongest selling points of the Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Aura. The laptop features a 14-inch OLED touchscreen with a 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This combination should make the screen sharp, smooth, and well-suited for both work and entertainment.
Lenovo has also focused heavily on color accuracy and visual quality. The OLED panel is rated for 100% coverage of the sRGB, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB color spaces, with a claimed Delta E below 1. That makes it appealing for designers, photographers, video editors, and anyone who needs accurate colors on a compact laptop.
The display supports Dolby Vision and reaches up to 1,100 nits of HDR brightness. It also carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, which should help deliver deep blacks, strong contrast, and more immersive HDR content playback.
For users who spend long hours in front of the screen, Lenovo has included several eye-comfort features. The display has TÜV Rheinland hardware-level low-blue-light and flicker-free certifications, along with Eyesafe 2.0 certification. These features are designed to reduce eye strain during extended work sessions.
Despite its premium screen and internal hardware, the Yoga Air 14 Aura remains highly portable. It weighs around 1.2 kg and measures just 13.9 mm at its thinnest point, making it easy to carry in a backpack or laptop sleeve. The slim profile also gives it the polished look expected from a premium ultrabook.
Battery life is another important part of the package. Lenovo equips the laptop with a 70 Wh battery and claims up to 10.6 hours of simulated daily office use. The laptop also supports fast charging, with the battery reaching around 80% in about one hour, which is useful for users who frequently work on the move.
For video calls and online meetings, the Yoga Air 14 Aura includes a 5 MP privacy camera and a 3D microphone array. These features should improve call clarity and provide better image quality than standard laptop webcams. The privacy-focused camera setup also adds extra reassurance for users concerned about security.
The keyboard offers 1.5 mm of key travel, which should provide a comfortable typing experience for office work, writing, emails, and coding. Lenovo has also included a large 6.2-inch touchpad, giving users more room for gestures and navigation.
Audio is handled by a four-speaker system, designed to deliver better sound than typical compact laptops. Connectivity options include three full-function USB-C ports, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth, making the laptop ready for modern accessories, fast wireless networking, and external displays.
The new Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Aura with Intel Core Ultra 7 266V went on sale in China in August 2026. For now, Lenovo has not confirmed whether this specific configuration will launch in other regions. Given the growing demand for lightweight AI laptops with OLED displays, this model could attract attention if it becomes available internationally.
