Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite Teased With RGB Design Ahead of August 2026 Launch
Lenovo is preparing to expand its Legion gaming tablet lineup with a new compact model aimed at mobile gamers who want high-end performance in a smaller form factor. The upcoming device, officially named the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite in China, is scheduled to launch in August 2026.
The tablet first appeared publicly during the G-Fusion Game Festival 2026 in China, where Lenovo offered an early look at the device. Shortly after that reveal, the company confirmed the product name and has now released a new teaser video that highlights its gaming-inspired design.
One of the biggest design features shown in the latest teaser is the RGB lighting on the rear panel. The Legion Y700 Infinite appears to include three illuminated light strips surrounding the rear camera area, positioned just above the flash module. This gives the tablet a more aggressive gaming look and helps it stand out from standard compact tablets.
The teaser also briefly shows the front of the device. Lenovo appears to be emphasizing a display with slim bezels, although the borders still look fairly noticeable in the video. The company has not yet revealed the exact screen size, but the Legion Y700 Infinite is expected to be smaller than the Legion Y700 Gen 5, which launched earlier in 2026.
Lenovo introduced the Legion Y700 Gen 5 in China in March 2026 as a flagship gaming tablet powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The new Legion Y700 Infinite is expected to be a different variant rather than a direct replacement, with a greater focus on compact portability and mobile connectivity.
One confirmed feature that could make the tablet especially appealing is 5G support. This would allow gamers to play online titles, stream content, and stay connected without relying only on Wi-Fi. For a small gaming tablet, 5G could become one of its most important selling points, especially for users who want a portable device for gaming on the go.
Although Lenovo has not shared the full specifications yet, the Legion Y700 Infinite is expected to target users who want a premium Android gaming tablet with a compact body, strong performance, and a bold gaming design. Rumors also suggest that the device may use an OLED display, though Lenovo has not officially confirmed this detail.
With its RGB lighting, compact size, and promised 5G connectivity, the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite could become one of the more interesting gaming tablets of 2026. More details about the processor, display, battery capacity, charging speed, memory options, and pricing are expected to be announced closer to the August launch.
