Lenovo Introduces Fresh Hue for 2024 Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet

Lenovo is set to make waves in the gaming tablet market with the launch of the 2024 Legion Y700, which will officially debut on September 29 in China. This highly anticipated tablet aims to compete directly with RedMagic’s Nova, with Lenovo unveiling nearly all its specs ahead of the launch.

Initially showcased in a sleek matte black finish, the 2024 Legion Y700 will now also be available in a chic white colorway. Lenovo has branded these color options as “Carbon Crystal Black” and “Ice White.” This marks a notable change from the 2023 model, which was only offered in a single color.

A key highlight of the new Legion Y700 is its inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, coupled with a sizable vapor chamber (VC) cooler to ensure stable performance during extended gaming sessions. Recent teasers on Weibo have shown promising results, with the tablet maintaining excellent temperature control even under heavy loads.

Tech enthusiasts will also appreciate the tablet’s impressive 8.8-inch screen, which boasts a 165 Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. Additionally, global DC dimming further enhances the viewing experience, making the 2024 Legion Y700 a noteworthy successor to the previous year’s model.

If Lenovo manages to keep the pricing competitive, especially in the global market, the 2024 Legion Y700 stands a strong chance of outperforming the RedMagic Nova.
