Khadas Unveils the “World’s Smallest” Modular Mini PC, Plus a New External Display and Portable eGPU Dock

Khadas is coming to CES 2026 with a fresh take on modular computing, led by the Mind Pro: an ultra-compact mini PC designed to scale up into a laptop-style setup or plug into a dedicated graphics dock for a major performance boost. The idea is simple but compelling—buy a tiny core computer now, then expand it depending on how and where you want to use it.

At the center of the lineup is the Khadas Mind Pro, a modular mini PC that packs the latest Intel processor technology (the exact CPU model hasn’t been named yet) into a body with a volume of just 0.43 liters. That’s exceptionally small even by mini PC standards, making it a strong option for anyone who wants a powerful PC that’s easy to move between a desk, a living room setup, or a travel bag.

Despite its size, the Mind Pro is built with modern hardware in mind. It supports up to 64GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to a 2TB NVMe SSD for fast storage. For connectivity and displays, it offers two Thunderbolt 4 ports and an HDMI output, giving it flexible monitor support right out of the box. It also includes a high-bandwidth expansion interface using four PCIe 4.0 lanes, which is where the modular ecosystem really comes to life.

One of the headline add-ons is the Mind Graphics 2 Dock, created for users who want significantly stronger GPU performance than an integrated solution can deliver. This graphics dock includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of GDDR7 video memory, positioning it as a serious upgrade path for gaming, creative workloads, and GPU-accelerated applications. The dock also adds plenty of ports, including two HDMI 2.1a outputs and one DisplayPort 1.4a, along with extra USB Type-A and Type-C ports, a memory card reader, and a 2.5GbE Ethernet port for faster wired networking.

Rounding out the trio is the Mind xPlay, a portable display accessory built to turn the Mind Pro into a notebook-style workstation. Think of it as a screen-and-input companion that the mini PC can pair with when you want a more laptop-like experience—while still functioning as a standalone external monitor for other devices. The Mind xPlay uses an LCD panel with a 2880 x 1920 resolution, up to 500 nits of brightness, and a 60Hz refresh rate. It also includes a webcam and microphones, which makes it more viable for video calls and remote work without needing extra peripherals.

Khadas says the Mind is expected to open for pre-order starting January 9, 2026. With the Mind Pro, Mind Graphics 2 Dock, and Mind xPlay, the company is clearly targeting people who like the flexibility of modular computing—those who want a compact mini PC for everyday use, the option to transform it into a portable setup, and the ability to add dedicated GPU power when performance demands rise.
