Introducing: The AMD Radeon RX 7400 – Now Powering Dell Tower Desktops

AMD’s latest innovation, the Radeon RX 7400, is making waves as a 1080p powerhouse. This graphics card, detailed on AMD’s site, boasts impressive specs, featuring 28 Compute Units and harnessing the same RDNA 3-based Navi 33 GPU used in the Radeon Pro W7400. With 1,792 shaders, 64 ROPs, and 112 Texture Units, it stands strong with 13.3 billion transistors.

The RX 7400 is equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM, clocked at 10.8 Gbps, working on a 128-bit interface, and provides a memory bandwidth of 173 GB/s. It integrates 32 MB of AMD Infinity Cache, enhancing its performance capabilities.

This single-slot card includes modern connectivity options with DisplayPort 2.1 and HDMI 2.1, although it forgoes USB Type-C. It’s compact, measuring just 167 mm in length, but requires a minimum of a 450 W PSU.

While AMD hasn’t announced the release date, there are hints it might initially appear in pre-built systems like Dell’s Pro Tower QCT1250 and Pro Tower Plus QBT1250, where it’s offered as a discrete graphics choice. More details about the Radeon RX 7400’s specification can be found on AMD’s website for those eager to learn more.
