In a move that brings advanced editing capabilities to a wider range of its products, Insta360 has extended the compatibility of its AI Warp feature beyond the Ace and Ace Pro action cameras. This impressive AI-driven feature enables users to transform their video footage in creative ways using generative AI prompts. It is now available for users of several other Insta360 devices, including the versatile GO 3, the innovative X3 designed for VR content creation, and the modular ONE RS.
Insta360 is stepping up its game in the realm of smart action cameras with the expansion of its AI-powered editing feature, AI Warp. Initially an exclusive for the latest Ace series, starting at $449 on Amazon as of January 19, 2024, this feature now embraces other models in their lineup. AI Warp can be found in the Shot Lab, the editing suite akin to Samsung’s Expert RAW>Labs, and it allows for imaginative alterations to footage based on a diverse range of prompts, including keywords like ‘costumes’ or even ‘cyberpunk’ settings.
Users are encouraged to experiment with making their subjects animated or drastically altering the environment and appearance within their content. Despite the potential of AI Warp, there is a constraint of three free uses per day, after which a fee may apply.
The expansion of AI Warp access includes the 360-degree X3 camera and its predecessors, the compact GO 3 and GO 2, and the Flow. For the enthusiasts requiring high-quality optics, the 360-degree dual 1-inch Leica-branded sensors ONE RS is included and is currently retailing for $799 on Amazon.
With this update, Insta360 continues to showcase its commitment to providing creators with powerful tools that enhance video production and storytelling. The inclusion of AI Warp to these additional cameras indicates a drive to push the boundaries of what’s possible in video editing and underscores the brand’s role as an innovator in the action camera industry.
As always, Insta360 encourages the sharing of their updates and innovations, noting that every link counts in spreading word of the latest advancements in their product offerings.
