IKEA is rolling out a fresh update for its Dirigera Hub, aiming to make everyday smart home control more reliable. The new software, version 2.934.0, lands roughly a month after the previous release, which focused on improving Thread network performance in certain situations and fixing a problem that could appear when moving Matter-compatible devices between rooms.
According to the latest release notes shared by users, IKEA says this update includes two key improvements designed to keep your connected home running smoothly.
First, IKEA has continued refining the Matter device onboarding experience. That matters because IKEA expanded its smart home lineup with Matter support across late 2025 and early 2026, helping its devices work better across different smart home ecosystems. Still, some users reported pairing difficulties and occasional unexpected disconnects. With version 2.934.0, IKEA is targeting better stability during setup, which should make adding Matter-enabled devices to the Dirigera Hub less frustrating and more consistent.
Second, the update fixes an issue tied to IKEA Bilresa remotes. Previously, a bug could prevent volume adjustments when music was paused on a connected smart speaker. The new patch resolves that behavior, restoring expected volume control from the remote.
The Dirigera Hub update (version 2.934.0) is scheduled to arrive automatically through the IKEA Home smart app. IKEA hasn’t shared an exact timeline for when the rollout will reach everyone, so availability may vary depending on region and device.
