First unveiled a few years ago, the N Vision 74 has captured the interest of many fans who are eager to see it enter mass production. It appears Hyundai may soon fulfill these enthusiasts’ desires.
In 2022, Hyundai introduced the N Vision 74, a retro-futuristic EV inspired by the 1974 Pony Coupe concept. This vehicle was designed to showcase the capabilities of Hyundai’s ‘N’ sub-brand, known for its high-performance cars. New hints suggest that the N Vision 74 might soon transition from concept to reality.
During its 2024 CEO Investor Day, Hyundai presented a slide outlining its future EV lineup. The company plans to release 21 electric vehicle models by 2030, spanning various lines including the Casper and Genesis models. Notably, the slide featured the N Vision 74 under the high-performance segment of the N sub-brand, hinting at its potential commercial availability.
Although Hyundai has yet to make an official statement confirming mass production of the N Vision 74, its inclusion in the official slide has fueled speculation that it might soon be available for purchase. It’s important to note that Hyundai has previously dismissed rumors about producing the N Vision 74, so caution is advised. However, its appearance in this recent presentation has boosted hopes.
The concept version of the N Vision 74 showcased in 2022 features a hybrid hydrogen fuel cell system paired with a 62.4 kWh battery capable of 800V fast charging. While the final commercial model might differ, the prospect of this unique vehicle becoming a reality is exciting. With 2030 less than six years away, additional details and possibly an official confirmation are eagerly anticipated.
