Hisense is getting ready to expand its home theater lineup with the new XR10 Laser Home Cinema projector, officially revealed ahead of its showcase at CES 2026. The company is calling it a “first-of-its-kind” model, largely thanks to a compact build that’s designed to be easier to place and install than many high-brightness home cinema projectors.
A major highlight is brightness. The XR10 uses Hisense’s LPU 3.0 Digital Laser Engine paired with an RGB triple-laser light source, and it’s rated for up to 6,000 ANSI lumens. That’s a big number for a home cinema-focused projector and positions it as a strong option for viewers who want a large, vivid image even in rooms where you can’t fully control ambient light.
Hisense says the XR10 can project images up to 300 inches, aiming squarely at buyers who want a true “big screen” experience without a TV-sized footprint. It also includes a 0.84x to 2.0x optical zoom range, which should give users more freedom to fine-tune screen size and placement from different distances.
For picture quality, Hisense is teasing an “up to” 6000:1 contrast ratio along with wide coverage of the BT.2020 color space. While the company hasn’t provided an exact BT.2020 percentage yet, the combination of an RGB triple-laser system and broad color gamut support suggests the XR10 is built to deliver rich, saturated colors for movies, sports, and gaming.
Setup and alignment look like another key focus. The projector includes four cameras and dual time-of-flight (ToF) sensors to help quickly dial in the image and correct projection accuracy. Hisense also notes horizontal and vertical lens shift, which is especially useful if your projector can’t be positioned perfectly centered or level with the screen.
There are also a couple of engineering touches aimed at keeping performance consistent over long viewing sessions. Hisense’s IRIS system can automatically adjust the lens aperture, and a microchannel liquid cooling system is designed to improve heat dissipation—important for maintaining brightness and stability in a compact, high-lumen projector.
The Hisense XR10 Laser Home Cinema projector will make its public debut at CES 2026, which begins January 6. Pricing and exact availability haven’t been announced yet, but with its 6,000 ANSI lumens rating, triple-laser engine, large 300-inch projection capability, and sensor-assisted setup tools, the XR10 is shaping up to be one of the more noteworthy home theater projector announcements heading into 2026.
