Hisense is taking aim at serious home theater fans with its new XR10 4K Triple Laser Smart Projector, a flagship model first announced late in 2025 and later showcased at CES 2026. Marketed as the company’s “most capable” projector so far, the XR10 is built for big-screen viewing with high brightness, premium HDR formats, and modern smart features.
Pre-orders are already live in the United States, where the Hisense XR10 is listed at $5,299.99. That’s positioned as a hefty $1,700 drop from its $6,999.99 recommended price. Buyers ordering through Hisense’s online store are also being offered a free HT Saturn 4.1.2-channel soundbar as part of the purchase, adding extra value for anyone putting together a full living room or dedicated theater setup.
The projector is also appearing at select retailers in Europe. In the UK, it’s listed at £5,999, while customers in Germany can find it priced at €4,999. However, Hisense hasn’t clearly confirmed when the XR10 will see a wider, official European release, so availability may vary by country.
Designed to deliver a true big-screen experience, the Hisense XR10 outputs 4K UHD resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate and can project images up to 300 inches. It features a 0.84–2.0:1 throw ratio, giving users flexibility for different room sizes and installation distances. At the heart of the system is an RGB triple-laser light source rated for up to 6,000 ANSI lumens, a brightness level aimed at punchy visuals even in rooms that aren’t fully darkened. Hisense also estimates around 25,000 hours of use from the light source, supporting long-term ownership without frequent maintenance.
For picture quality enthusiasts, the XR10 is specced with 118% coverage of the BT.2020 color space and a 6,000:1 contrast ratio. It also supports sought-after cinematic standards and HDR formats, including IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+, helping content look more dynamic with brighter highlights, deeper shadow detail, and richer color grading when paired with compatible movies and streaming titles.
Smart features are handled through Hisense’s VIDAA OS platform, providing popular built-in streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube, and Disney+. The projector also supports Apple AirPlay and Miracast, making it easier to cast content from phones, tablets, or laptops without extra hardware.
Audio is covered by integrated Devialet speakers, with compatibility for Dolby Digital and DTS Virtual:X to create a more spacious, immersive sound presentation than typical built-in projector speakers. Still, with premium positioning and cinema ambitions, many shoppers may pair it with a soundbar or surround system to match the scale of the visuals.
Connectivity is up to date, with Wi‑Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, plus a solid port selection that includes HDMI 2.1, HDMI 2.0, and USB 3.0. The projector itself comes in a black and gold finish and measures 11.5 x 10.7 x 8.4 inches (about 292 x 272 x 213 mm), giving it a compact footprint for its class while still looking like a high-end home theater centerpiece.
With triple-laser performance, 6,000 ANSI lumens brightness, Dolby Vision support, and an extra-large 300-inch projection capability, the Hisense XR10 is shaping up to be one of the more ambitious premium 4K laser projectors entering the market in 2026—especially for buyers who want a high-brightness projector that doesn’t compromise on modern HDR and smart streaming features.
