GIGABYTE has introduced a fresh lineup of high-end gaming monitors aimed at players and creators who want sharper visuals, faster refresh rates, richer HDR, and more immersive display technology. The new AORUS Elite monitor range includes a standout 5K Mini LED glossy gaming display along with three advanced OLED models using 4th-generation Tandem WOLED panels.
The highlight of the lineup is the GIGABYTE FM275K16P, a 27-inch 5K Mini LED glossy gaming monitor designed for users who want ultra-crisp image quality without giving up speed. GIGABYTE positions it as the world’s first 5K Mini LED glossy gaming monitor, and its specifications make it one of the most interesting displays in the premium gaming monitor market.
With a 27-inch screen and a high pixel density of 218 PPI, the FM275K16P is built to deliver retina-level clarity. That means text, game environments, UI elements, and creative workloads should appear noticeably sharper than on traditional QHD or standard 4K monitors of similar size. The glossy panel finish is also aimed at enhancing perceived contrast and color depth, making visuals look more vibrant and detailed.
Mini LED technology plays a major role in this display’s appeal. The monitor features 2,304 local dimming zones, allowing it to produce deeper blacks, stronger contrast, and improved HDR performance compared with conventional LED-backlit displays. The high number of dimming zones also helps reduce blooming and halo effects, which can be especially noticeable in dark scenes with bright highlights.
One of the most useful features of the FM275K16P is its triple-mode configuration. Instead of being locked to a single resolution and refresh rate combination, the monitor can switch between different performance modes depending on the user’s needs. It supports 5K at 165Hz for maximum sharpness, UHD at 220Hz for a balanced high-resolution gaming experience, and QHD at 330Hz for smoother competitive gameplay.
This makes the display flexible for different types of users. Story-driven gamers can enjoy the detail of 5K, esports players can prioritize refresh rate at QHD, and those who want a middle ground can use the UHD 220Hz mode. The monitor also features a 1ms GtG response time, helping reduce motion blur and making fast-paced gameplay feel more responsive.
For smoother gaming, the FM275K16P supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and is compatible with NVIDIA G-Sync. These technologies help reduce screen tearing and stutter when frame rates fluctuate, which is important for demanding modern games running at high resolutions.
Connectivity is another strong point. GIGABYTE includes a DisplayPort 2.1 connection with 80Gbps bandwidth, allowing high-quality visuals without heavy compression. The monitor also includes HDMI 2.1 with eARC support, making it more versatile for gaming PCs, consoles, and audio setups. With up to 1,250 nits of HDR peak brightness, the FM275K16P is positioned as a serious premium display for users who care about both performance and image quality.
Alongside the 5K Mini LED model, GIGABYTE also revealed three new AORUS Elite OLED gaming monitors using 4th-generation Tandem WOLED technology. These displays are designed to deliver stronger brightness, excellent contrast, wide color coverage, and extremely fast response times.
The first OLED model is the GIGABYTE FO32U24GP, a 32-inch UHD dual-mode gaming monitor. It supports UHD at 240Hz for high-resolution gaming and FHD at 480Hz for competitive play where speed matters most. This dual-mode approach gives users the option to choose between visual fidelity and maximum responsiveness depending on the game.
The second model, the GIGABYTE FO32U24G, also offers a 32-inch UHD experience with similar core specifications. While it appears to share much of the same display capability as the FO32U24GP, the main differences are expected to be related to connectivity and port configuration.
The third OLED model is the GIGABYTE FO27Q28G, a 27-inch QHD gaming monitor built for competitive players. It offers a refresh rate of up to 280Hz and an ultra-fast 0.03ms response time, making it a strong option for fast shooters, racing games, and esports titles where every millisecond can matter.
All three OLED monitors share several premium features. They offer up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness, 99.5% DCI-P3 color coverage, Delta E less than 2 color accuracy, AMD FreeSync Premium support, NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility, and an AI picture mode designed to optimize image settings automatically.
With this new monitor lineup, GIGABYTE is clearly targeting gamers, hardware enthusiasts, and content creators who want cutting-edge display performance. The 5K Mini LED model stands out for its sharpness, local dimming, HDR brightness, and flexible resolution modes, while the OLED models focus on instant response times, rich contrast, high refresh rates, and strong color performance.
As gaming monitors continue to evolve, features like 5K resolution, Mini LED backlighting, Tandem WOLED panels, DisplayPort 2.1, 480Hz modes, and advanced adaptive sync support are becoming key selling points in the premium segment. GIGABYTE’s latest AORUS Elite displays show that the next generation of gaming monitors is not just about higher refresh rates, but also about giving users more control over how they balance clarity, speed, contrast, and immersion.
