Gigabyte Unveils Innovative X3D Turbo Mode 2 “AI” BIOS: Elevates AMD Ryzen CPUs by 15% in Gaming and 35% in Apps with Three New Ice Boards

Gigabyte has unleashed a trio of innovative X870 ICE motherboards, featuring their cutting-edge X3D Turbo Mode technology to elevate the performance of AMD Ryzen CPUs. At Computex 2025, this new 2nd Gen X3D Turbo Mode technology was showcased, promising enhanced efficiency for both applications and gaming.

This impressive tech comes packed with features such as analyzing user workload, adjusting CPU frequency, sensing temperature, and managing power delivery. A comparison graph highlighted how Gigabyte’s X3D Turbo Mode outperforms AMD’s Core Performance Boost (CPB), with noticeable gains when systems are under load.

Performance-wise, it delivers a remarkable 10% improvement in creative applications, up to a 15% boost in gaming (including titles like Cyberpunk 2077), and an overall increase of up to 35% in multithreaded tasks.

Adding to its allure, Gigabyte’s ICE motherboards now include the M.2 EZ-Flex design for SSDs. This ensures optimal contact with the heatsink and flexible pressure distribution, reducing temperatures by up to 12 °C compared to traditional motherboard designs.

Another convenience is the relocation of Wi-Fi drivers to the BIOS, thanks to an expanded Driver flash memory. This change simplifies setups as users no longer need to install Wi-Fi drivers manually when building a new PC or when fresh installing Windows. The drivers can later be updated to a local device if needed.

The exciting new lineup includes the Gigabyte X870 AORUS Master X3D ICE, X870 AORUS PRO X3D ICE, and X870 AORUS ELITE X3D ICE—each boasting an elegant white design. These boards are packed with features like exceptional overclocking, robust IO capabilities, and efficient cooling systems.

Beyond these, Gigabyte plans to expand with five standard motherboards featuring updated designs, including the B850 and X870 options. Fans and tech enthusiasts can look forward to more details on pricing and availability in the coming months. Stay tuned for further updates!
