GameSir has officially introduced a special Phantom Blade Zero edition of its G7 Pro 8K PC controller in China, and it looks like one of the brand’s most eye-catching releases yet. The controller combines a dramatic game-inspired design with high-performance hardware aimed at PC, Android, Steam, and Nintendo Switch players.
In China, the controller is known as the Uranus 8K Phantom Blade Zero. For global markets, it is expected to launch as the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Phantom Blade Zero Edition. While a wider release date has not yet been confirmed, the Chinese launch gives a clear look at what players can expect.
The standout feature is the controller’s design. Its faceplate features artwork of Soul, the protagonist from Phantom Blade Zero, paired with striking crimson thread details that glow in the dark. Under bright lighting, the controller also shows off a purple metallic finish, giving it a premium and collectible feel.
GameSir has extended the theme beyond the controller itself. The grips feature a 3D textured design, while the home button swaps the usual brand or console-style icon for a bell symbol. The included charging dock also carries the crimson thread styling and Phantom Blade Zero branding. When the controller is placed on the dock, the light bar glows red, matching the dark fantasy-inspired look.
Beyond its visual appeal, the GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Phantom Blade Zero Edition is built for serious gaming performance. It features an 8,000Hz polling rate and latency as low as 0.25ms, making it a strong option for players who want faster input response in competitive games.
The controller is equipped with GameSir’s proprietary JS13 Pro TMR thumbsticks, designed to offer improved accuracy and durability. It also includes micro-switch 2.0 ABXY buttons, adjustable triggers, additional bumper buttons, and two programmable rear buttons for more flexible control options.
Other gaming-focused features include a 6-axis gyroscope for motion control, dual asymmetric rumble motors, and a 3-level adjustable turbo function. There is also a 3.5mm audio jack with a dedicated microphone mute button, making it convenient for voice chat during gameplay.
Power comes from a 1,200mAh battery, and the controller supports multiple connection methods depending on the platform. Players can use Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless, or a wired USB-C connection.
Compatibility includes PC, Android, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. However, the controller does not appear to support Xbox consoles, as it does not feature an Xbox-style home button.
The GameSir G7 Pro 8K PC Phantom Blade Zero Edition is currently available in China through major retail platforms. The package includes the controller, charging dock, extra grip shells, a keyring, a custom carrying case, two additional D-pads, and a USB-C cable.
