Hamilton Brings Captain Price’s Modern Warfare Watch to Life as a 38mm Khaki Field Mechanical

Hamilton Recreates Captain Price’s Modern Warfare 4 Watch as a Khaki Field Mechanical Special Edition

Hamilton is bringing a piece of the Call of Duty universe from the screen to the wrist with a new Khaki Field Mechanical inspired by Captain Price’s watch in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The latest collaboration turns the in-game timepiece into a real-world military-style watch, blending Hamilton’s field-watch heritage with the gritty tactical look associated with the iconic character.

The new model, officially known as the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical 38mm Call of Duty Special Edition, reference H69469930, is set to launch on October 23 alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. It follows Hamilton’s previous gaming-themed release, but this edition takes a more traditional route by using a hand-wound movement instead of an automatic one.

At the heart of the watch is Hamilton’s H-50 mechanical movement, a hand-wound caliber designed for the Khaki Field line. It offers an impressive 80-hour power reserve, meaning the watch can run for more than three days on a full wind. The movement also includes hacking seconds for more precise time-setting and a Nivachron balance spring, which helps improve resistance to magnetic fields and everyday wear.

The watch comes in a 38 mm stainless-steel case with a sandblasted black PVD coating, giving it a stealthy, rugged appearance that fits the military-inspired theme. At just 9.5 mm thick, it keeps the slim profile that fans of the Khaki Field Mechanical appreciate. The case measures 47 mm from lug to lug and uses a 20 mm lug width, making it a practical size for a wide range of wrists.

Hamilton has paired the case with a khaki-green textile strap, reinforcing the field-watch aesthetic. A black PVD steel buckle completes the look, keeping the entire design consistent with Captain Price’s tactical style.

The dial is one of the standout details of this special edition. Hamilton has given it a heavily grained black finish, adding texture and depth while maintaining excellent legibility. The numeral at four o’clock features typography inspired by the “4” from Modern Warfare 4, offering a subtle but clear connection to the game without overwhelming the watch’s clean military design.

For visibility in low-light conditions, Hamilton uses Super-LumiNova X2 on the hands, numerals, and hour markers. The watch is protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a welcome feature for durability and clarity. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, or 50 meters, making it suitable for everyday splashes and light water exposure, though not intended as a dedicated dive watch.

The caseback adds another unique touch for fans. It features a soundwave motif taken from Modern Warfare 4, along with Hamilton and Call of Duty branding. It is a detail that helps separate this model from the standard Khaki Field Mechanical while keeping most of the gaming references tastefully reserved.

Hamilton has also created special packaging for the release. The watch comes in a leather presentation case designed to resemble a traditional cigar case, a direct nod to Captain Price’s character. This makes the special edition feel more collectible and gives it extra appeal for both watch enthusiasts and Call of Duty fans.

Pricing is set at $795 in the United States, €750 in Europe, CHF 675 in Switzerland, and ¥121,000 in Japan. With its compact case size, hand-wound movement, game-inspired design touches, and military styling, the Hamilton Khaki Field Mechanical Call of Duty Special Edition is aimed at collectors who want something more distinctive than a standard field watch.

Rather than creating an overly flashy gaming tie-in, Hamilton has taken a restrained approach. The result is a wearable, everyday mechanical watch with enough Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 details to make it feel special without sacrificing the classic Khaki Field identity. For fans of Captain Price, military watches, or limited-edition gaming collaborations, this release is likely to draw plenty of attention when it arrives.
