Samsung is reportedly preparing to expand its range of budget Android smartphones with the introduction of new models in 2024. Despite the anticipation of the Galaxy M15, there is now buzz about an upcoming 4G/LTE variant of a previous year’s model, the Galaxy M14. Sources suggest that this new non-5G Galaxy M14 version is likely to make its debut in the Indian market shortly.
Despite the 5G version of the Galaxy M14 being on sale since 2023 and currently priced at INR 12,490 (~$151) on Amazon India, Samsung is gearing up to introduce a 4G variant of this device. Speculations are rife that the upcoming 4G model shares the same specifications as the Galaxy A05s but will be marketed under the Galaxy M14 nameplate in India. In support of this hypothesis, the model number SM-M145FZBHINS was spotted on Samsung India’s online support database, indicating an imminent release with a reported 6GB of RAM configuration.
The design aesthetics of the M14 4G are said to resemble its 5G counterpart, drawing comparisons to a budget-friendly version of the Galaxy S23 due to its waterdrop-notched display. Moreover, there is talk of a similar device, the Galaxy F14 4G, which mirrors the design and specs of the M14 4G. Both devices have been hinted in a shared user manual, alluding to the possibility that their joint release may soon round off this segment of Samsung’s smartphone offerings.
Photographs and details have started to surface for the Galaxy M14 and F14 4G, not long before their expected launch, fueling anticipation for these budget-friendly smartphones.
Fans of Samsung’s budget-friendly range have reason to expect an imminent announcement, with the possibility of the devices being showcased on Samsung’s official channels and retail partners in the near future. Keep an eye out for official confirmations and further details on these upcoming models as their release draws closer.
