GALAX Launches GeForce RTX 4070 Ti HOF With White Colored Cooler & PCB, A 366W TGP & More 2

GALAX Sets the Record Straight: Palit Partnership Secures Current and Next-Gen GPU Production

GALAX isn’t going anywhere. After a wave of online confusion and “brand shutting down” claims, the graphics card maker has confirmed it will continue producing GPUs under new leadership at Palit, and it’s already preparing products for both the current generation and the next.

The mix-up started when conflicting internal messages circulated during a major business transition. That led some people to believe GALAX was exiting the PC graphics card market entirely. Palit has now cleared the air: it has taken full control of GALAX’s operations, including business handling and RMA support, but the brand itself remains active and is staying in the GPU space.

According to updated statements from the companies, GALAX will keep developing new graphics cards across its familiar lineup. That includes the GALAX brand, KFA2 (commonly associated with European markets), and the enthusiast-focused HOF label. Rather than disappearing, these brands are now being integrated directly under Palit, with the goal of strengthening their presence and improving coordination and support.

A key part of the confusion involved Ronaldo, the head of GALAX Brazil and a well-known figure behind the TecLab tech channel. He had previously shared information that suggested GALAX would stop operating, but that information was later confirmed to be incorrect. Both GALAX and Palit say it stemmed from an internal misunderstanding during the management transition, and that Ronaldo was unintentionally given the wrong details at the time.

Ronaldo later addressed the situation publicly, explaining that the “GALAX is finished” narrative was misinformation. He pointed to official company documentation and emphasized that GALAX continues in Brazil, TecLab remains active, and the partnership is still in place. He also pushed back on claims that he deleted posts related to the news, stating he did not remove anything and thanking outlets that handled the story accurately.

For PC gamers and GPU enthusiasts, the most important takeaway is simple: GALAX is still in the graphics card business. Palit’s takeover isn’t a shutdown—it’s a consolidation. And with confirmation that work is underway on both current and next-generation GPUs, buyers and fans of GALAX, KFA2, and HOF can expect the product pipeline to continue rather than end.

Founded in 1994 in Hong Kong, GALAX has grown into a recognized global name in PC hardware, particularly for graphics cards. Over the years, the company has built a strong reputation among enthusiasts, with the HOF series often highlighted for overclocking-focused designs. With Palit now steering operations and support, the companies say the goal is to keep those standards high while building an even stronger future for the brands.
