The device, expected to launch as the Lenovo Legion Y700 Infinite, is reportedly arriving in August with two standout additions: 5G connectivity and an OLED display.
The new Legion gaming tablet recently appeared at the 2026 G-Fusion Game Festival in Shenzhen, giving fans an early look at what Lenovo may be planning next. While the company has already released several Legion-branded tablets this year, this upcoming version is expected to bring features that set it apart from the rest of the lineup.
A well-known Chinese leaker, Digital Chat Station, has shared new information about several compact tablets currently in development. Among them is Lenovo’s next small-size gaming tablet, which is said to feature an OLED screen. That would be a notable change from the existing Legion Y700 models and could make the device more appealing to gamers who want richer colors, deeper blacks, and improved contrast in a portable form factor.
The tablet is also expected to support 5G, making it more flexible for cloud gaming, online multiplayer, streaming, and mobile productivity when Wi-Fi is not available. With Lenovo, RedMagic, iQOO, and Apple all showing interest in smaller premium tablets, 2026 could become a big year for compact devices.
