The Casio Edifice EFK-100XPB-1A watch is making its way to the UK market, shaking off its initial exclusivity to Japan and China. This exciting addition joins three other new Edifice EFK-100 models set to launch soon.
Casio is stepping into the world of mechanical watches with this model, boasting a 40-hour power reserve and precision within -35 to +45 seconds per day. Its transparent caseback offers a glimpse into the watch’s intricate workings. Sapphire crystal glass protects the analog dial, complemented by a durable urethane band.
Setting itself apart, the EFK-100XPB-1A features a forged carbon dial and casing. This innovative material, crafted from carbon fiber and resin, provides a lighter yet stronger alternative to traditional metals. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters and measures 45.0 x 40.0 x 12.5 mm, with a weight of approximately 87 grams. Additional features include magnetic resistance and a date display near the dial’s bottom.
Priced at £429, the EFK-100XPB-1A is notably more expensive than its counterparts, such as the EFK-100D-2A and EFK-100D-3A at £269, and the EFK-100CD-1A at £289. The release is anticipated in July 2025, though availability in other countries remains uncertain. Fans in the US and the Netherlands will have to stay tuned for further updates.
