Electrify Your Adventure with the New Decathlon RR700e Mountain Bike Equipped with Bosch Motor

Decathlon has introduced the RR700e electric mountain bike in Germany. This new model features the robust Bosch Performance Line CX motor paired with a 545Wh PowerPack. The bike is designed with several high-quality components, including RockShox suspension and an SRAM SX EAGLE derailleur.

The RR700e is a sister model to the RR900e, which debuted earlier this year in the same market. Both bikes share a mid-mounted 250W, 85Nm Bosch Performance Line CX motor and utilize the RockShox Recon Silver RL suspension fork with 100 mm of travel. Despite both being 12-speed bikes, the RR700e opts for the SRAM derailleur, whereas the RR900e uses a Shimano XT M8120. Additionally, the RR700e’s battery provides a slightly shorter range of up to 100 km (~62 miles), compared to the RR900e.

Other features of the RR700e include a display for speed and battery level, Shimano BR-MT420 hydraulic disc brakes, and Schwalbe Nobby Nic 29 x 2.35-inch tires. The bike also boasts Bluetooth connectivity for various functionalities such as GPS location tracking and remote locking via the eBike Flow app.

The RR700e weighs in at 27.8 kg (~61.3 lbs), making it slightly heftier than the L-sized RR900e, which is 24.5 kg (~54.0 lbs). Sold in Germany for €3,299, it remains uncertain when or if the RR700e, along with the RR900e, will be available in other European markets.
