Decathlon Unveils the Next-Gen E-FEEL: A Fresh Take on Electric Mountain Biking

Decathlon has quietly rolled out a fresh version of its Rockrider E-FEEL 900 S Full Suspension Electric All-Mountain Bike across several European markets, giving riders a new look without changing what made the model popular in the first place. First revealed in late 2023 and launched in 2024 in both standard and Team Edition trims, the E-FEEL 900 S now appears in a new black frame finish that seems set to replace the earlier Jungle Green colorway.

While the updated paint job is the most noticeable difference, the rest of the package looks essentially unchanged. That’s good news for anyone who was already considering the E-FEEL 900 S for all-mountain riding, because the key components remain the same: a powerful Shimano mid-drive motor, capable suspension from RockShox, and modern electronics designed to make trail rides smoother and more connected.

At the heart of the bike is the Shimano EP801 motor. It delivers 250W of nominal power, up to 600W peak, and a strong 85 Nm of torque—plenty for steep climbs, technical sections, and long days on mixed terrain. Power comes from a 630 Wh Shimano BT-EN806 battery, with Decathlon estimating up to 90 km (around 56 miles) of range on flat ground, depending on conditions and assist level.

For riders focused on comfort and control, the suspension setup stays trail-ready: a RockShox Domain RC 160 mm fork up front and a RockShox Deluxe Select shock at the rear. Drivetrain duties are handled by an 11-speed Shimano Cues 6070 Di2 rear derailleur, paired with 29-inch Rockrider Grip 500 tires for confident rolling and grip. Stopping power comes from TRP Trail Evo hydraulic disc brakes, aimed at delivering consistent braking on long descents.

Tech features include the Shimano SC-EN600 controller with a 1.4-inch color LCD display and Bluetooth connectivity, making it easier to monitor ride data and manage settings. The frame is built from 6061 aluminum, and the complete bike weight is listed at about 24.6 kg (roughly 54.2 lbs), which is typical for a full-suspension electric mountain bike in this category.

Pricing remains the same as the previous version. The black Rockrider E-FEEL 900 S is currently listed for €4,499.99 in countries including France and Spain, matching the recommended retail price of the earlier green model. Right now, availability appears limited to size XL, and Decathlon hasn’t confirmed when additional sizes—expected to include S, M, and L—will be released.

For anyone shopping for a full-suspension electric all-mountain bike in Europe, this looks like a straightforward refresh: the same performance-focused components, now in a stealthier black finish, at the same price point.
