Decathlon Introduces the Upgraded Stilus E-Touring Electric Mountain Bike

The electric biking community is seeing a new contender rise to the challenges of rugged terrain and long rides with the latest upgrade from Decathlon. The new and improved Stilus E-Touring electric mountain bike comes packed with enhancements, most notably including the addition of an advanced SR Suntour XCM32 ATB suspension fork that boasts 100 mm of travel, providing riders with improved comfort during off-road excursions.

In many respects, this bike shares the same quality components as its predecessor. At the heart of the e-bike is a robust Bosch Performance Line CX Gen4 mid-mounted motor, noted for its substantial torque of 85Nm and an impressive 340% assistance ratio. This powerful combination is tailored for performance, capped at a legal top speed of 25 kph (approximately 16 mph), and ensures a tailored riding experience with a torque sensor that matches the motor’s power to your pedaling pace.

The endurance of the Stilus E-Touring is bolstered by a Bosch PowerTube 750Wh battery, designed to provide assisted riding for distances reaching up to 130 km (about 81 miles) on a single charge. Riders can stay informed and in control with the integrated Bosch Kiox display, which provides important navigation aids, real-time speed data, and access to the eBike Lock feature for added security.

With the goal of creating a versatile off-road companion, the e-bike is fitted with 29-inch Schwalbe tires, each 2.35 inches wide, a Microshift Advent X 10-speed rear derailleur for responsive gear changes, and reliable Clarks M2 hydraulic disc brakes that promise consistent stopping power. Ensuring safety on both day and night adventures, the e-bike is equipped with lights at the front and back.

Designed for adventurers who like to carry gear, the e-MTB boasts a variety of load-carrying solutions, including a rear rack capable of supporting a total load of up to 145 kg (roughly 320 lbs). Its durable 6061 aluminum frame is available in three different sizes to accommodate various rider heights, with the medium size frame weighing in at 26.2 kg (approximately 57.8 lbs).

Outdoor and biking enthusiasts across Europe, specifically in countries like France, Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands, can now get their hands on the high-frame Decathlon Stilus E-Touring electric mountain bike. The bike is attractively priced at €3,499.99 in most of these regions, with a slight variation at €3,519.99 for customers in the Netherlands.

Whether it’s for daily commuting, weekend trails, or even more challenging touring, this versatile e-mountain bike seems set to make an impression on the e-bike market, offering riders a powerful, reliable, and feature-rich option for their outdoor ventures.
