Eizo has introduced its latest innovation, the FlexScan FLT monitor, which promises to be a trailblazer in energy efficiency and sustainability. Dubbed the world’s most energy-efficient monitor by the company, this 23.8-inch display stands out by achieving a Class A energy efficient rating according to European standards.
The monitor is equipped with Future-Leading Technology (FLT), significantly reducing its average power consumption to a remarkable 6 watts. To put this into perspective, the 24-inch Dell SE2422HX Monitor, even with various energy-saving features, typically draws around 16 watts. This jump in efficiency is attributed to a combination of its power-saving panel and features like the Eco Mode preset. Additionally, users can benefit from a power consumption indicator to keep an eye on energy usage.
Designed with a 1080p IPS panel, the monitor offers a vivid display with a 93ppi pixel density, 250 cd/m² brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, and a swift 5ms response time from gray to gray. Its seamless operation is facilitated through USB-C power input, eliminating the need for a separate power adapter. Plus, it features two additional USB-C ports for connecting laptops and other devices with ease.
Weighing in at a manageable 2.4 kg, the FlexScan FLT sports a sleek and frameless design with a minimal bezel of just 24.4 mm. The monitor’s adjustable arm ensures that you can position it perfectly in your workspace.
Eizo is set to launch the FlexScan FLT this December. While pricing information and availability across different countries are not yet disclosed, this model is certainly one to watch for those prioritizing energy efficiency without compromising on quality and style.
