DJI’s Lito X1 and Lito 1 Drones Break Cover as Global Launches Get the Green Light

DJI may still be working on getting the Avata 360 ready for takeoff, but fresh signs suggest the company is already preparing to broaden its consumer drone lineup with more than one new model. Recent leaks and regulatory filings point to DJI developing two drones under what appears to be an entirely new product family called “Lito.”

The first clue surfaced on social media late last month, when several drone-focused accounts shared an image claimed to show a component from an unreleased DJI drone labeled the Lito X1. The part in the photo looks like a drone propeller arm, notably shown without the propellers attached. While a single component doesn’t reveal full specs or design, it’s often the kind of early breadcrumb that shows up ahead of a product launch.

More substantial evidence has now arrived through official channels. DJI has certified both the Lito X1 and another model called the Lito 1 with the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). FCC certification is typically a strong signal that a device is being prepared for sale in the United States, and it also effectively confirms that “Lito” is a real DJI brand name rather than just a rumor.

As for what the Lito X1 actually is, there’s already speculation that it could be a rebranded version of the SkyRover S1, a drone that reportedly launched a few months ago. However, at this stage, that claim hasn’t been fully verified, and it’s still unclear whether DJI is repackaging existing hardware or introducing something genuinely new under the Lito series.

For now, the key takeaway is straightforward: in addition to ongoing work on its other drone projects, DJI appears to have at least two more consumer drones in the pipeline, and they may arrive as part of a new Lito lineup intended for release in North America. As more filings, photos, or pre-launch details surface, the Lito X1 and Lito 1 could become DJI’s next big move in the competitive consumer drone market.
