Steppenwolf Tycoon 11 debuts as a premium full-suspension e-bike with 150 Nm of torque
Steppenwolf is pushing deeper into the high-performance e-bike market with the Tycoon 11, a flagship full-suspension electric mountain bike built for riders who want serious power, long range, and top-tier trail capability.
The biggest highlight is its DJI Avinox M2S mid-drive motor. In Boost mode, the system can deliver up to 150 Nm of torque, giving the Tycoon 11 the kind of pulling power needed for steep climbs, loose surfaces, and demanding technical trails. For off-road riders who regularly tackle challenging terrain, that level of torque could make a noticeable difference when accelerating uphill or powering through rough sections.
To support longer rides, Steppenwolf equips the Tycoon 11 with a large 800 Wh battery. This high-capacity setup is designed to provide enough energy for extended trail sessions, making the bike suitable for riders who do not want range anxiety cutting their adventures short.
The frame is made from carbon fiber, helping keep weight under control despite the powerful motor, large battery, and full-suspension design. The Steppenwolf Tycoon 11 weighs just under 22 kg, or around 48.5 lb, which is impressively light for an e-MTB in this performance class.
Suspension travel is another key part of the package. With 170 mm of travel, the Tycoon 11 is built to handle aggressive off-road riding, from rocky descents to root-covered forest trails. The bike uses Fox components for the fork, rear shock, and dropper post, reinforcing its premium positioning.
Steppenwolf has also fitted the Tycoon 11 with Maxxis Minion DHF and Minion DHR II tires, a popular combination for riders who need strong grip, braking control, and confidence on difficult terrain. A compact Avinox DP100 display is included to keep ride data visible without cluttering the cockpit.
As expected from a high-end carbon electric mountain bike with flagship-level components, the Steppenwolf Tycoon 11 comes with a premium price. The model is listed at €9,999, placing it firmly in the upper tier of the e-bike market.
