CRKD Debuts the First Limited-Edition Nitro Deck 2—and It’s Bursting With Color

CRKD has revealed the first limited edition version of its upcoming Nitro Deck 2, even though the accessory hasn’t started shipping yet. The announcement arrives just weeks after the Nitro Deck 2 was first introduced, making this an unusually early special-release drop—especially since the standard Nitro Deck 2 isn’t expected to ship until Spring 2026.

This new model is a collaboration between CRKD and video game publisher Limited Run Games. Officially named the Nitro Deck 2 LRG Fusion Limited Edition, it keeps the same core product but swaps the standard black-and-white look for a more collector-friendly, colorful design aimed at Nintendo Switch 2 fans who want their accessories to stand out.

The design leans heavily into a translucent, two-tone style. The left side features a light blue transparent shell, while the right side switches to a translucent purple. Around back, the main body is black, but the accent controls add a bold contrast: the four rear buttons are pink, and the shoulder and trigger buttons are pink as well. “Limited Run” is printed on the back in matching pink lettering, making it clear this is a branded partnership edition rather than a simple color swap.

Price-wise, there’s good news for buyers: the Nitro Deck 2 LRG Fusion Limited Edition costs $99, the same as the standard Nitro Deck 2. Pre-orders are open now through Limited Run Games, and the preorder window is scheduled to close on March 29, 2026. Shipping is currently estimated for a broad window between April 1 and June 30, 2026.

To sweeten the deal for collectors, this limited edition package also includes a string bag and a collector’s pin, giving it a bit more value without raising the price. For fans who missed out on special variants of earlier Nitro Deck models—or simply want a more vibrant Nintendo Switch 2 setup—this looks like the first major limited-run option for the Nitro Deck 2 long before the accessory even hits store shelves.
