CRKD Pushes Back Nitro Deck 2, ULT Pro, and ATOM+ Controller Launches

CRKD Nitro Deck 2 delayed as ULT Pro and Atom+ Mini Controller also move to July 2026

CRKD has confirmed that its upcoming Nitro Deck 2 will not ship as early as originally expected. The controller, designed for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles, was first announced in December 2025 with a planned Spring 2026 release window. That schedule has now shifted, with the company targeting late July 2026 for shipping.

According to CRKD, the delay is tied to final evaluations and approval processes that must be completed before the Nitro Deck 2 can move into mass production. The company says one more evaluation remains, which means pilot production is now expected to begin in May, followed by full production in June.

The Nitro Deck 2 remains available for pre-order at $99.99 in multiple color options, including White, Shadow Black, and Pal Grey. However, there appears to be some variation between official timing and retail release information, with one major listing currently showing a June 30, 2026 release date. CRKD’s own update points instead to a later July shipping window.

The delay also applies to the Nitro Deck 2 LRG Fusion limited edition, a special version created in collaboration with Limited Run Games. Customers who pre-ordered that edition should now expect the same revised timing as the standard model.

CRKD also confirmed that two other recently announced controllers have been pushed back. The ULT Pro wireless controller and the Atom+ Mini Controller, both revealed in late March, are now also expected to arrive in July 2026. Retail listings currently show different dates for the two accessories, with the ULT Pro listed for July 30 and the Atom+ Mini Controller listed for July 1.

While the delay may be disappointing for players looking forward to new Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 accessories, CRKD appears to be taking extra time to complete testing and approvals before sending the products into full-scale manufacturing. For buyers, the main takeaway is that the Nitro Deck 2, ULT Pro, and Atom+ Mini Controller are still on the way, but the wait will be a little longer than first planned.
