Pearl Abyss has officially confirmed that Crimson Desert has gone gold, marking a major milestone ahead of its highly anticipated release. In game development, “going gold” means the project has reached gold master status—its core development is complete, the code has been finalized, and the game is ready to move into distribution and launch preparation.
The studio shared a heartfelt message to players who have been following the journey, thanking fans worldwide for their support and enthusiasm throughout development. Pearl Abyss also said it’s excited to welcome players into the world of the game, inviting everyone to step into the continent of Pywel when the adventure begins.
Crimson Desert is an ambitious action-adventure title, and the confirmed release date is now firmly set. The game launches March 19, 2026, and will be available on Windows PC via Steam, as well as Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
With the game locked in and ready for the final stretch to release, fans can now look forward to launch day with added confidence—Crimson Desert is complete, and the countdown to Pywel has begun.
