The Vivo X200 series has made a grand entrance in China, with a trio of smartphones powered by the cutting-edge Dimensity 9400 chipset. Standing out in this impressive lineup is the Vivo X200 Pro Mini, which effortlessly marries top-tier features with a compact design.
What makes the X200 Pro Mini particularly intriguing is its 6.31-inch display, making it the most petite in the series. Despite its compact size, it boasts a robust 5,700 mAh battery. To put this into perspective, the Pixel 9 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro, which also feature 6.3-inch displays, come equipped with 4,700 mAh and 3,582 mAh batteries, respectively.
The Vivo X200 Pro Mini shines in the camera department as well, mirroring the capabilities of its larger Pro counterpart. It features a Sony LYT-818 primary camera, a staggering 200 MP Zeiss APO telephoto lens, and a 50 MP ultrawide sensor. Notably, the 200 MP telephoto camera was previously seen in the X100 Ultra. On the front side, a 32 MP selfie camera ensures that every shot is crisp and clear. These cameras are driven by Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, consistent with what’s used in the X100 Ultra.
The phone’s display is an LTPO OLED, offering an adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, an impressive peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and a sharp resolution of 2,640 x 1,260 pixels. The Vivo X200 Pro Mini supports swift charging capabilities, with 30W wireless and 90W wired charging, as well as durability features like IP68 and IP69 ratings. It runs on the Android 15-based OriginOS, promising a smooth user experience.
In terms of pricing, the Vivo X200 Pro Mini offers several configurations. The base model, with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB of UFS 4.0 storage, is priced at CNY 4,699 (approximately $663). The mid-tier version, featuring 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage, comes in at CNY 5,299 (about $748). The high-end model, boasting 16 GB RAM and a generous 1 TB of storage, is available for CNY 5,799 (around $818).
Available in a variety of striking colors such as Simple Black, Plain White, Light Pink, and Titanium Green, this device is set to attract attention. While it has launched in China, Vivo is yet to announce details about the phone’s global availability and pricing.
