Vivo Supercharges X200 Ultra and Latest Flagships With Major Camera Enhancements

Vivo is preparing a fresh round of camera-focused software upgrades for several of its flagship smartphones, giving users more creative tools for photos, Live Photos, and image personalization.

The company previously introduced iPhone-style camera looks for the Vivo X300, Vivo X300 Pro, and the older Vivo X200 Ultra. Now, Vivo has confirmed that its Blueprint Colour Palette feature is scheduled to roll out to more devices starting in July.

The upcoming July update is expected to bring Blueprint Colour Palette support to the Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, Vivo X200s, and Vivo X200 Pro mini. This feature was first introduced in April on the Vivo X300, X300 Pro, and X200 Ultra, offering users more control over the color tone and visual style of their images.

Vivo is also planning another imaging update in August. This update will add new photo watermark options to eight smartphones, expanding customization for users who like to brand or personalize their shots directly from the camera app.

The devices expected to receive the new image watermark feature include:

Vivo X200

Vivo X200 Pro

Vivo X200 Pro mini

Vivo X200s

Vivo X200 Ultra

Vivo X300

Vivo X300 Pro

Vivo X Fold5

Another major feature arriving in August is called 4K Ultra HD Live. According to Vivo, this upgrade will allow users to view Live Photos in 4K resolution, making motion photos sharper and more detailed.

The 4K Ultra HD Live feature is expected to be available for the Vivo X300, Vivo X300s, Vivo X300 Pro, Vivo X300 Ultra, and Vivo X200 Ultra. This could be a useful addition for users who frequently capture moving moments and want higher-quality playback from their smartphone gallery.

These updates show Vivo’s continued focus on mobile photography, especially across its premium X-series and foldable lineup. With features like Blueprint Colour Palette, improved watermarks, and 4K Live Photo viewing, Vivo appears to be strengthening its camera software experience rather than relying only on hardware upgrades.

However, Vivo has not yet confirmed whether these imaging features will be released for global OriginOS versions. For now, the rollout details appear to apply to selected markets, with wider availability still uncertain.
