Vivo’s X200 lineup is continuing to grow, and a fresh addition may be just around the corner. After debuting the Vivo X200 series in China in October 2024, Vivo has already rolled out multiple versions to global markets, including the standard Vivo X200, the Vivo X200 FE, and the Vivo X200 Pro. Now, a new report suggests the company is preparing another model: the Vivo X200T.
According to the latest leak, the Vivo X200T could launch in India in late January. While that timeline points to an imminent release, there’s still no firm information about when (or if) the phone will arrive in other regions. The device has also reportedly been spotted in the GSMA IMEI database under the model number V2561, which adds weight to the idea that it’s moving through early listing stages ahead of launch.
What makes the rumored Vivo X200T particularly interesting is how it’s being described: a blend of the Vivo X200 and the Vivo X200 FE. If accurate, this positions the phone as a strategic “in-between” option—potentially offering a compact, easy-to-handle design while still delivering the kind of speed and camera chops people expect from the X-series. It may also serve as a more budget-friendly alternative for shoppers who want strong performance without stepping up to newer flagship lines.
While Vivo hasn’t confirmed any official specs yet, the report hints at a compact form factor similar to the Vivo X200 FE, paired with a Zeiss camera setup and an emphasis on performance. That combination could appeal to users who want a smaller Android phone that doesn’t compromise too much on photography or day-to-day power.
For context, the Vivo X200 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, while the Vivo X200 FE uses the Dimensity 9300+. If Vivo follows the “mix-and-match” approach described in the leak, the Vivo X200T could land somewhere in this performance range—potentially targeting buyers who care about smooth gaming, fast app loading, and efficient multitasking, while still prioritizing a recognizable camera experience.
Separately, Vivo’s upcoming high-end model, the Vivo X300 Ultra, has reportedly appeared in a certification listing in China—suggesting the company is preparing multiple launches across different price tiers and user needs.
For now, the Vivo X200T remains a rumor, but the combination of a reported India launch window, an IMEI database appearance, and the “X200 meets X200 FE” positioning makes it one to watch if you’re shopping for a compact performance phone with a strong camera focus.
