Google Pixel 11 series leaks point to bigger storage, higher prices, and fresh colors
The Google Pixel 11 series is expected to launch as early as August, and the leak cycle is now moving into full swing. As usual before a major Pixel release, supply chain details and retail information are beginning to surface, offering an early look at what Google may be preparing for its next flagship smartphone lineup.
The latest rumor suggests that the Pixel 11 family could bring one major change that many users have been asking for: more base storage. However, that upgrade may come with a noticeable price increase across the lineup.
According to the new information, Google may drop the 128GB starting storage option for the Pixel 11 series and make 256GB the new entry-level configuration. That would be a welcome move for users who store lots of photos, videos, apps, and AI-powered features on their phones. But the rumored pricing shows that Google’s next flagship devices may be more expensive than their predecessors.
The standard Google Pixel 11 is said to start at €999 in Europe for the 256GB model. A 512GB version could cost €1,129. For comparison, the Pixel 10 reportedly started at €899 in the region, meaning the next model may see a significant jump in price.
Google is also expected to refresh the color selection for the base Pixel 11. The rumored options include Light Sterling, a gray shade; Midnight Haze, a black finish; Fuchsia, a pink option; and Moss, a green color.
The Pixel 11 Pro is also tipped to receive the 256GB base storage treatment. The 256GB model is rumored to cost €1,199, while the 512GB version may be priced at €1,329. A 1TB model could reach €1,589. The previous Pixel 10 Pro reportedly started at €1,099 in Europe, so buyers may again be looking at a higher starting price.
For the larger Pixel 11 Pro XL, the 256GB version is expected to cost €1,399. The 512GB model may be priced at €1,529, while the top-end 1TB version could rise to €1,789.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are expected to share several color choices for the 256GB and 512GB versions. These may include Light Fog, a white shade; Midnight Haze, a black finish; Dune, a pink tone; and Pine, a green option. However, the 1TB versions may be available only in Midnight Haze.
Google’s next foldable phone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, is also part of the rumored lineup. The 256GB model may cost €1,999, while the 512GB version could be priced at €2,129. The highest 1TB configuration may reach €2,389.
For colors, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold may come in Midnight Haze and Pine for the 256GB and 512GB versions. The 1TB model is expected to be limited to Midnight Haze.
Beyond pricing and storage, several early hardware details have also surfaced. The standard Pixel 11 is expected to keep a very similar size to the Pixel 10, with dimensions of around 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm. That would make it slightly slimmer than the previous generation by about 0.1mm while matching the thickness of the Pixel 9.
The base Pixel 11 is rumored to feature a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display, Google’s Tensor G6 processor, 12GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery. While the pricing leak suggests Google may move the lineup to 256GB as the new starting point, earlier specification rumors had mentioned 128GB storage. That means storage details should still be treated as unofficial until Google confirms them.
The Pixel 11 Pro is expected to bring a premium display and a more refined design. Rumors point to a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED screen, a Tensor G6 chip, a MediaTek M90 modem, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and a 5,500mAh battery. The phone may also include thinner bezels, giving it a more modern front design.
One of the most noticeable design changes could appear on the back. Early renders suggest that the Pixel 11 Pro may switch to an all-black camera bar for its triple-camera setup. Previous models used a camera bar that partially matched the body color, creating a two-tone style. The new look could make the camera area appear cleaner and more unified.
There are also rumors of a glowing outline around the camera bar, possibly tied to a feature known as Pixel Glow. If true, this could give the Pixel 11 Pro lineup a more distinctive visual identity and help it stand out from other flagship Android phones.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL is expected to offer many of the same high-end specifications as the Pro model. Rumored features include a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display, a 7-core Tensor G6 processor, a MediaTek M90 modem, 16GB of RAM, 256GB base storage, and a 5,500mAh battery. Its dimensions are said to be around 162.7 x 76.5 x 8.5mm, making it slightly slimmer than its predecessor.
Like the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel 11 Pro XL may also adopt the all-black camera bar design. If Google follows through with this change, the Pro models could have a darker, sleeker rear appearance compared with the Pixel 10 Pro XL’s two-tone camera layout. The rumored Pixel Glow effect may also appear on this model.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold could bring a thinner body than the previous generation, though it may still not be the slimmest foldable on the market. Rumors suggest it may measure around 10.1mm thick when folded and 4.8mm when unfolded. That would be an improvement over the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which was reportedly 10.8mm folded and 5.2mm unfolded.
Google may also make a small but useful design change by placing the LED flash inside the glass section of the rear camera bump. This could make the back of the phone look cleaner and less cluttered. However, early details suggest the Pixel 11 Pro Fold may still have large bezels, which could be a point of criticism for users expecting a more modern foldable design.
If these leaks are accurate, the Google Pixel 11 series could be one of the most important Pixel upgrades in years. The move to 256GB base storage would make the phones more practical for long-term use, especially as mobile photography, 4K video, AI features, and large apps continue to demand more space.
At the same time, the rumored price increases may make the Pixel 11 lineup a tougher sell, especially in Europe. Google appears to be positioning its next-generation phones deeper into premium flagship territory, with higher storage, updated designs, new colors, and upgraded internals.
