Casio’s Gold-Tone G-Shock Collaboration Expands to More Markets

Casio’s gold-tone G-Shock x BlackEyePatch DW-5600BEP-9 is now available in the UK

Casio’s latest limited-edition G-Shock collaboration has officially gone on sale in the UK. The new G-Shock DW-5600BEP-9, created in partnership with Tokyo streetwear label BlackEyePatch, is priced at £130 and brings a bold gold-tone finish to one of Casio’s most recognizable digital watch designs.

This release marks the third collaboration between Casio G-Shock and BlackEyePatch, continuing a partnership that blends rugged watchmaking with urban fashion. The DW-5600BEP-9 keeps the classic square silhouette that has made the DW-5600 series a long-running favorite among G-Shock fans, but gives it a standout streetwear-inspired makeover.

The watch features a gold-tone bezel and band made from bio-based resin, paired with a black digital face for strong contrast. BlackEyePatch branding appears on the dial, while the case back is engraved with the streetwear brand’s logo. Casio has also added collectible packaging for this release, including a custom box featuring the BlackEyePatch mark and the phrase “time is money” across the design.

In terms of size, the G-Shock DW-5600BEP-9 measures 48.9 x 42.8 x 13.4 mm and weighs approximately 53 grams. That keeps it lightweight and wearable while still offering the durability expected from the G-Shock name.

Beyond its eye-catching design, the DW-5600BEP-9 includes the practical features that make the DW-5600 line so popular. It comes with a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, a full auto calendar programmed through the year 2099, and a white Super Illuminator backlight with afterglow for improved visibility in low light.

The watch is accurate to within ±15 seconds per month and runs on a CR2026 battery, which Casio says can last up to five years. Like other G-Shock models, it is built to handle everyday knocks and outdoor use, offering shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance.

The Casio G-Shock DW-5600BEP-9 BlackEyePatch edition is also available in the US and Japan, where it is priced at $165. With its limited-edition status, gold-tone styling, and strong streetwear appeal, this model is likely to attract both G-Shock collectors and fans of BlackEyePatch’s Tokyo-inspired aesthetic.
