Casio’s latest affordable dive-style watch collection has officially gone on sale in the UK, giving buyers three new stainless steel models to choose from at a budget-friendly price. The new Casio MTD-145D series is now available through Casio UK, with each model priced at £85.
The collection includes three versions: the Casio MTD-145D-1AV, MTD-145D-2AV, and MTD-145D-3AV. While all three watches share the same core design and specifications, they differ in dial and bezel color. The MTD-145D-1AV offers a timeless black finish, the MTD-145D-2AV comes in blue, and the MTD-145D-3AV brings a green option for those who prefer a more distinctive look.
Casio has designed the MTD-145D series with a classic dive-watch-inspired appearance, combining a stainless steel case and bracelet with a rotating aluminum bezel. The result is a sporty yet versatile watch that can work well for everyday wear, casual outfits, or light outdoor use.
Each model measures 47.5 x 43.2 x 10.3 mm and weighs 128 grams, giving the watch a solid presence on the wrist without being overly thick. The stainless steel bracelet includes a one-touch three-fold clasp, designed to offer a secure and convenient fit.
Although the MTD-145D watches have a diver-style design, they are rated for 50 meters of water resistance. That means they are suitable for light water exposure, including swimming and snorkeling, but they are not intended for scuba diving or deeper underwater activities.
The dial is protected by mineral glass, which provides basic resistance against scratches during normal daily use. The design remains simple and easy to read, featuring three hands, clear hour markers, and a date window. Inside, the Casio MTD-145D series uses a quartz movement with an advertised accuracy of ±20 seconds per month. The watch is powered by an SR920SW battery, which Casio says can last for up to three years before needing replacement.
