BenQ has just unveiled its latest addition to the world of entertainment technology with the LK830ST Laser Simulation Projector. This 4K UHD marvel offers an immersive experience ideal for home golf simulators, interactive learning environments, and even museums or theme parks.
The LK830ST boasts a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and features a short throw ratio of 0.496:1. With a laser light source, it delivers an impressive brightness of up to 4,000 ANSI lumens. Designed for longevity, it promises about 20,000 hours of operation in Normal Mode and extends to 30,000 hours in Eco Mode. The projector provides exceptional image clarity with a native 16:9 aspect ratio, a stunning 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and covers 93% of the Rec. 709 color space. It can project images up to 300 inches wide, with enhancement tools like Corner Fit and 2D Keystone Correction ensuring precision.
Users can explore various modes including Simulation, 3D, HDR10, HLG, and sRGB. Designed for smooth performance, it offers a 16.7 ms input lag at 1080P@60 Hz, with horizontal and vertical frequency ranges that accommodate diverse content needs. Connectivity is seamless with ports such as HDMI, LAN, USB, and RS-232, complemented by a robust 15W built-in speaker. Compact and lightweight, it measures 279 x 121 x 229 mm and weighs just 3.4 kg.
Scheduled for official release in September 2025, the LK830ST is already making waves with a suggested retail price of €2,399 in Europe, while one retailer offers it for €1,999. Details about the US launch and pricing remain undisclosed for now.
