BenQ has unveiled an exciting addition to their projector lineup with the LH830ST Short-Throw Laser House Mapping Projector. This innovative device is designed to project stunning images onto the exterior of your home, making it perfect for holiday decorations like Halloween and Christmas. Its versatility also extends to commercial uses in theme parks and museums.
The LH830ST boasts a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, supporting up to 120 Hz. With a native 16:9 aspect ratio and a remarkable 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio, it covers 93% of the Rec. 709 color space, ensuring vibrant and detailed images. It can project images ranging from 70 to 300 inches wide, with an impressive 0.496 throw ratio. Thanks to its 116% projection offset, it’s adaptable to different house heights without the need for excessive adjustment.
Equipped with a laser light source, this projector delivers up to 4,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, promising up to 30,000 hours of use in Eco Mode. It comes with a built-in 15W speaker and includes various connectivity options such as HDMI, LAN, USB, and RS-232. Future updates are anticipated over Wi-Fi, enhancing its functionality.
Compact yet powerful, the LH830ST measures 279 x 121 x 229 mm and weighs 3.4 kg. It shares many features with the recently released LK830ST, a 4K simulation projector.
Set to launch officially in September for €1,899, it’s already available in the UK for £2,004 and in other European countries for €1,584. While its US pricing remains undisclosed, anticipation is building for this impressive piece of tech.
