Belkin has introduced a new 14-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Dock in China, targeting power users who want a single-cable setup for charging, displays, fast data transfers, networking, and desktop accessories. The dock is priced at 2,299 yuan, which is roughly $338, and it appears positioned as a premium Thunderbolt 5 docking station for modern laptops and workstation-style setups.
The new Belkin Thunderbolt 5 dock connects to a laptop through one upstream Thunderbolt 5 port and can deliver up to 140W USB Power Delivery. That makes it powerful enough to charge many high-performance laptops while also handling display output, storage devices, card readers, Ethernet, and USB accessories through the same cable. Belkin includes a 180W power adapter and a one-meter Thunderbolt 5 cable in the box, which helps users get the full experience without needing extra purchases.
One of the biggest highlights is bandwidth. The dock supports 80Gbps transfer performance by default, but it can scale up to 120Gbps when the system needs more bandwidth for demanding display setups. This makes it especially useful for creators, developers, video editors, and desk-based professionals who rely on high-resolution or high-refresh-rate monitors.
For display connectivity, the dock includes one DisplayPort 2.1 port and one HDMI 2.1 port. Each can support up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 240Hz, depending on the connected display and host device. Belkin also includes two downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports, which can pass video signals and provide up to 15W of power each for compatible accessories.
Windows users get especially strong multi-monitor support. The dock can run up to three external 4K displays at 144Hz, or four screens in total when counting the laptop display. Mac support depends on the Apple Silicon chip inside the computer. Newer M4 and future M5 models can support multiple external displays, while M1, M2, and M3 machines remain limited by Apple’s own display support restrictions.
Belkin has also packed in a wide range of ports for everyday desktop use. The dock includes a 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for faster wired networking, a 3.5mm audio jack, one USB-C 3.2 port with up to 30W output, another USB-C 3.2 port with 7.5W output, one USB-A 3.2 port rated at 10Gbps, and two USB-A 3.0 ports rated at 5Gbps each. For photographers and content creators, it also features UHS-II SD 4.0 and microSD 4.0 card readers with speeds up to 312MB/s.
The dock uses an aluminum chassis measuring 22.2 x 8.5 x 2cm and weighs 510g. Belkin has added a thermal management system to help control heat during heavy workloads, along with a power button, LED status indicator, and Kensington lock slot for added security in office or shared work environments.
Compatibility includes Thunderbolt 5, Thunderbolt 4, USB4, and USB-C devices, although performance will vary depending on the connection type. Older or lower-bandwidth devices will not be able to access the dock’s full Thunderbolt 5 speeds. Thunderbolt 3 is not supported.
For now, Belkin has launched the 14-in-1 Thunderbolt 5 Dock in China. However, the company briefly listed the product globally at around $350 before removing the page, which suggests an international release may be planned. If it reaches more markets, this dock could become a strong option for users looking to build a clean, high-performance workstation around a single Thunderbolt 5 cable.
