Beelink ME Pro gets a new Wildcat Lake NAS configuration with up to 124TB storage support
Beelink has expanded its ME Pro lineup with a new configuration built around Intel’s Wildcat Lake platform. The latest model uses the Intel Core 3 304, an entry-level processor designed for efficient everyday computing, making this compact NAS an interesting option for users who want capable home storage without moving into expensive enterprise hardware.
One of the more unusual choices is the built-in UFS 3.1 storage. This type of storage is commonly found in smartphones and compact devices, and while it is faster than older eMMC solutions, it is still limited compared with full-speed NVMe SSD storage. Its performance is closer to a slower PCIe 4.0 x1 setup, which should be enough for system files and lightweight tasks, but users focused on heavy workloads will likely rely more on the dedicated drive bays and M.2 expansion.
The new Beelink ME Pro remains a four-bay NAS, with each bay supporting hard drives of up to 30TB. That gives the system a maximum of 120TB from the four main bays alone. In addition, the device includes one M.2 slot, officially supporting up to a 4TB SSD. While Beelink lists 4TB as the supported capacity, larger M.2 drives may also work depending on compatibility, potentially pushing total internal storage beyond the advertised figure.
Design is another key selling point of this NAS. Beelink says the ME Pro chassis is around 50% smaller than a typical four-bay NAS, making it easier to fit into a home office, media setup, or small workspace. Despite the compact footprint, it still offers a modular design with a swappable motherboard, giving the system more long-term flexibility than many traditional NAS units in its class.
Connectivity is one of the strongest parts of the new ME Pro configuration. The system includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one 10GbE network port, one 2.5GbE network port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one USB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The combination of 10GbE and Thunderbolt 4 makes this compact NAS especially appealing for users who need fast file transfers, external storage expansion, or a more versatile setup for media production and backups.
The Thunderbolt 4 ports also open the door for additional high-speed external drives, which could be useful for creators, photographers, video editors, and anyone managing large files. For users building a home cloud, media server, or backup station, the ME Pro offers a strong mix of compact design and high-capacity storage support.
Memory is also upgradeable. The system ships with 16GB of DDR5 RAM, but it can be expanded to 64GB. That extra memory could be useful for running multiple services, virtual machines, containers, or more demanding NAS applications.
In China, the Beelink ME Pro with the Intel Core 3 304 launched at CNY 4,719, which is roughly $697. Beelink has not yet confirmed when this model will become available globally, but an international release is expected in the near future.
Overall, the Beelink ME Pro Wildcat Lake NAS looks like a compelling compact storage solution for users who want high-capacity drive support, fast networking, Thunderbolt 4 expansion, and upgradeable memory in a smaller-than-usual four-bay design.
