Beelink Unveils Budget-Friendly Intel Mini PC With Integrated Power Supply

Beelink EQi13 Gets a More Affordable Intel Core i5 Option With Built-In Power Supply

Beelink has expanded its EQi13 mini PC lineup with a new, more budget-friendly configuration powered by the Intel Core i5-13420H. Designed for users who want a compact desktop for everyday productivity, media playback, office work, browsing, and light creative tasks, this new model brings solid performance in a small and clean-looking package.

The EQi13 was previously offered with the Intel Core i5-13500H, a stronger chip with a 12-core layout. The newer Intel Core i5-13420H version steps things down slightly with an 8-core configuration, making it a more affordable choice while still offering enough power for common home and office workloads.

Graphics performance also sees a modest reduction compared with the higher-end model. The Core i5-13420H uses Intel Xe integrated graphics with 48 execution units, while the Core i5-13500H configuration features a more capable 80EU integrated GPU. Even so, the new EQi13 should still handle video streaming, multitasking, web-based applications, document editing, and light GPU-assisted tasks without trouble.

One of the biggest advantages of this mini PC is its compact design with a built-in power supply. Many small desktop PCs rely on external power bricks, but Beelink’s integrated PSU helps keep the setup cleaner and easier to manage, especially for minimalist desks, office environments, and entertainment centers.

The new Beelink EQi13 configuration comes with 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and a 500GB SSD. The RAM is not upgradeable, so buyers should make sure 16GB is enough for their needs. For most everyday users, that amount should be suitable for multitasking, browser tabs, office apps, streaming, and casual workloads.

Storage expansion is more flexible. The system includes two M.2 slots for PCIe 4.0 SSDs, giving users room to add faster and larger storage later. Beelink lists the mini PC’s total supported storage capacity at up to 4TB, which should be plenty for documents, media libraries, applications, and work files.

Connectivity is another strong point for the EQi13. Despite its small footprint, the mini PC includes a practical selection of ports:

1 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port

3 USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports

1 USB 2.0 Type-A port

2 HDMI ports

2 1GbE LAN ports

1 3.5mm audio jack

The dual HDMI ports make it possible to connect two displays, which is useful for productivity, home offices, monitoring dashboards, or multitasking. The dual Ethernet ports also add flexibility for users who want wired networking, separate network environments, or more stable connectivity than WiFi alone.

Wireless features include WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, giving the EQi13 modern connectivity for wireless peripherals, fast network access, headphones, speakers, and other devices.

Beelink also highlights a quiet cooling system, which could make the EQi13 appealing for users who want a low-noise desktop for bedrooms, offices, reception desks, classrooms, or media setups. Combined with its sleek exterior and built-in power supply, the mini PC is clearly aimed at users who value both performance and a tidy workspace.

At a launch price of $499, the Beelink EQi13 with Intel Core i5-13420H positions itself as an affordable Intel-powered mini PC for everyday computing. It may not be the best choice for heavy gaming, demanding 3D rendering, or professional-grade video production, but it offers a balanced mix of performance, compact design, storage expandability, and connectivity for general users.

For anyone looking for a small desktop PC that can handle productivity, streaming, multitasking, and light creative work without taking up much space, the new Beelink EQi13 Core i5-13420H configuration is a practical option worth considering.
