The Beelink EQi12 has made a comeback with a refreshed version, now featuring the Intel Core i5 1235U processor. This mini PC promises to be a more powerful yet quieter alternative to its predecessor, the 12450H model, and is now available globally starting at $319.
The EQi12 boasts the Intel Core i5 1235U from the Alder Lake-U series, which reportedly delivers a 41.33% higher score on Time Spy and a 25.56% improvement on Fire Strike compared to the older model. One of the standout upgrades is its integrated graphics processing unit (iGPU). The 1235U version includes the Xe Graphics G7 with 80 execution units, a notable enhancement over the Xe G4 with 48 EUs found in the previous version.
Noise levels have also been improved, as the new configuration operates up to 8% quieter than the 12450H model. The rest of the hardware features remain consistent, including an 85 W built-in power supply and an efficient MSC 2.0 cooling system.
In terms of connectivity, the EQi12 offers a robust selection of ports: three 10 Gbps USB Type-A, one USB 2.0 Type-A, one USB Type-C for data transfers, two HDMI, two Ethernet ports, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Though the Type-C port is not full-function, the device compensates with features like WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, up to 32 GB of RAM, and support for a massive 4 TB of storage.
